Every Leap Year, the mirror world opens to the country of Avaritia. The Fae crossed over to attend the much awaited Snow Ball. This is where an auction happens. But the Auction is not ordinary. This is an auction where instead of objects, humans are bid and payed. They are called marionettes. This year I am one of the chosen marionettes. And my life as I know it would end on the day I was born.
