Ronald's P.O.V

I don't know why I began to telling him, it was always a sensitive subject for me. I don't like to talk about how I lost my parents.
But I did and now here I am crying my soul out in Will's arms.  He's so caring towards me. He doesn't laugh on how pitiful I am. Unlike the others who would lay on the floor of the laughter and say "Why couldn't you just move on? It happened long ago! You can't change it." I'm sure they would say that. But I'm here in my Willie's soft and caring arms, caressing me. He started humming a tune what's so familiar. It...it's that tune? I thought I'd never hear it again! I didn't notice that my crying died down into whimpers. Hehe, it still works. This tune sounds so nice from him. I looked up at him with teary eyes. He gently wiped the tears away. I kept him close to me. I layed my head on his chest looking out of the window, staring into the nothingness. He was comforting me quite a while now. Will softly moved me and he's now standing, holding me in his arms. He carried me upstairs to his bedroom. He gently put me into his bed and covered me with some blankets. "It's much more comfortable than the couch, isn't it?" He smiled. I nodded and layed my head on a pillow. "You're going to be late from work." I said looking for a clock. "It's 7:05 am. I still have some time to get ready. Don't worry about me. When I arrived to the Dispatch I'll pick up your paperwork and when my shift is over I'll bring it to you and help you. So you won't get overtime. You're sick enough and I don't want them to send you to the Dispatch while you're in this state." He said with a slightly annoyed tone. "Thanks for everything." I said. "I'm going to get ready." Will walked to his closet and pulled out another white shirt, a vest, a tie and a suit. He faced his back to me and pulled off his shirt and pajama pants. He's now only in a black boxer. His body is so thin. The suit adds to his body some weight but not much. He's still looks slim in it. He changed into his normal work clothes and turned to me. He noticed me that I stared at him. "Uhh, sorry I should have just change my clothes in the bathroom." He looked away with a slight blush. "D-Don't worry! It's totally fine! We're in YOUR house after all." I blushed madly. "It's still rude of me to just change clothes in front of a guest." I rolled my eyes. His blush darkened. "Anyways, I'll go brush my teeth and go to work." He made his way to the bathroom. After some minutes he came back, fixed his hair and tie. "So, you won't have breakfast today again?" I sighed knowing the answer. "Sadly, I don't have enough time for these. I'm working late and wake up early." He shook his head. I feel so sorry for him. "I love you! Have a good day!" I said and quickly pulled the covers over my head in shyness. Willie chuckled softly and placed a kiss on my covered head. "I love you too." He responded. "Have a nice day too and just relax, okay?" "Okay." I nodded. "I feel much better and I'm glad that you didn't catch cold too." I looked down. "That's good to hear. Yes, I'm happy I didn't." He petted my cheek with one finger. "7:15 am. I have to go now. Bye!" He waved and and went downstairs. "Bye!" I said loudly. I heard the door close and locked again. 'What should I do now??" I looked around. On my right side there's a drawer, a large bookshelf, and a mirror. On my left side there's a closet, a window and next to the bed is a nighstand. In front of me close to the closet there's the door to the hall, some feet away to the right there's the door of the bathroom. 'I should read a book.' I thought and slowly stood up. I walked over to the bookshelf and began to read the book covers. "Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, Crime and Punishment, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Scarlet Letter, etc." I read them outloud. 'I only heard of The Count of Monte Cristo.' I pulled it out and walked back to the bed and started reading.

William's P.O.V

'Please, everything go fine today. I don't want to leave Ronnie alone for longer than needed. I hope he is doing fine." I was thinking about him all the way to work. I reached the Dispatch and headed down the halls to my office. "Ohhh, William, darling!" 'Oh no, not him at such an early hour.' "I brought to you the reports of my last reaping." Said the crimson haired shinigami. He handed me the papers. "On time, Sutcliff. This is new." I said. "I've got overtime and wanted to finish as soon as I could. Anyways, you and Ronnie didn't return from the soul collecting yesterday. What happened?" Grell asked. I hesitated for a minute to tell him or not. I finally dedided. "He got sick before the collecting and he wasn't in the best state. While we were reaping the soul attacked him.  After I saved him, he passed out and I carried him to my house. He's still sick but he gets better from time to time." I said to the red-head. He looked at me with a concerned look. "I hope he'll feel better. Take good care of the sweetheart!" He sounded genuine without any flamboyant demeanor this time, which was rare. "I'm doing anything I can. Now, I must get back to work. Thanks for the reports." I thanked him and headed to my office. Every third thought was on my Ronald who's staying at home all alone. I hope nothing bad will happen.
Luckily, the day went by and everything went smoothly. 'This is strange.' I thought. 'Nothing eventful happened yet. Maybe that's because one of the main mischief-maker is not here. How I love Ronnie but his pranks sometimes which involves Grell too...' I rubbed my temporal. I miss him and his mischieves. Even if they make my job a bit harder, I still loved his presence. Now I know his past, I'll pay more attention to him and show more love. I looked down at the paper.  *sigh* 'Why do I always get so much paperwork? This is ridicolous.' I thought to myself.

Ronald's P.O.V

I layed in Will's bed and got to the half of the book. The story is about a young man who has a perfect life. He'll be the captain of a ship and he's in love with a beautiful, young woman, Mercedes. But his so-called friends have a great jealousy towards him, they plan out something to change that. Kinda interesting story except that I don't usually read. Nor like to read books. They're boring. But now that I'm sick, I can't do anything else. 'It is about time for Will to come home.' I thought. 'Uhhhh, what should I do?' I rolled in the bed, groaning. I'm thirsty. I got up and walked down to the kitchen. "Let's see." I thought outloud. "Where is he keeping the glasses? Maybe here. No. Here? No. And...of course not here. Seriously!" I checked almost every cupboard and haven't found any glasses or mugs. "Except I didn't check there." I pulled the small doors of the last cupboard to my left. "Please, be here." Found them! "Mission complete!" I said and poured a glass of water. I gulped it down. It was refreshing.

I heard the door open. "I'm home!" A voice said. My Willie has finally arrived! My boredom was over.

A/N: Only the beginning was fluff but Will has to go to work or he gets unecessary overtime! :(  And we don't want that! Poor Ronald has to stay at Will's house all alone.
Hope ya enjoyed!
