THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

Meeting him...... is a nightmare

I simply wear my lime green dress that end up in my knee. I simply wore no makeup tonight since it was only a dinner with Zayn's girlfriend that I only saw once when I accidentally entered my brothers room while they doing Skype. And her brother that I don't know nothing about. I charged my phone after receiving Emilys text that she gotten safely in her house and was ready to doze off since we have early morning session with the guidance counselor. I closed my bedroom door and headed up downstairs. I heard laughter from the dining room and saw 2 backs of unfamiliar people that having conversation with Zayn. Zayn's smile grew wider when he sees me and calls me to sit next to him.

"Ken, come on join us" I simply obeyed him and sat next to him and across a handsome looking guy

"Kendall, this is Gigi, and her brother Harry" he gestured to both of them Gigi was the first one to greet me

"Oh my God, you are so beautiful, just like what Zayn always talks about" she shakes my hand "Oh, and this is my brother Harry, Harry this is Kendall, Zayn's sister" she gestured me to her brother who simply nod and looking at me sideways

"Nice meeting you Gigi, you are beautiful, makes sense why Zayn doesn't shut his mouth when he's talking about you"

"Really? That's so sweet babe" Zayn stretch his arms and holds Gigi's hand

I tried not to look at Harry's way, his attitude is far from his sister positive aura, this man across me is an ultimate douche as what I can feel. I am not a judgmental person I just don't like people like him

"So, Kendall. Hmm. I have something to say to you earlier and I forgot all about it cause of your little rant" he says and I nod telling him to continue

"You didn't tell her?" Gigi says and I look at my brother with questioning eyes, glaring at him cause I feel a little off about what he's up to because of Gigi's reaction

"Just spill it Zayn"

"Okay, this is not bad at all. Since Gigi had an unexpected offer of a modeling job here in Central London and still can't find a flat to stay in, I offered her to stay here until she find an apartment to settle in"

"Oh, is that it? It's not a big of a deal. She's your girlfriend and I don't find it bad to have someone here besides you" Zayn nudges me and Gigi laughs at our exchange

"I told you babe, she's not always bitchy"

"Oi, I am not bitch Zayn. Most of the time it was you who's always bitching about over litthe things" I laugh and Gigi frown at what I just said

"Oh. Maybe I need to find our own flat as soon as possible, I don't want to deal everday with Zayn's bitchiness" Gigi jokes and Zayn pouted his lips and feels a little offended and Gigi kisses his lips. I smiled at their sweetness

"Get a room, you too If you both will always be like that maybe I am just going to locked up at my room everyday" I said to lighten the mood

"So, Gigi, who's with you?"

"huh?"

"You said "our" are you going to live with your colleagues?'

"Oh no, silly. Since I don't want to leave my brother alone in our aunt's old house I decided to bring him with me. He will transfer school and he says that he wants to find a job to pay for his shares"

"Oh, I see."

"So, Ken, it's okay for you if Gigi and Harry will stay here until they get themselves settled in, right?"

"Oh, yeah. I don't mind" I said nonchalantly

"So, where will I stay?" Harry asked

"thought you are mute" I snort loudly that makes his eyebrows raised at me

"Sorry" told him

"Since, it's all settled now. Let's talk about the room assignments. There are 2 rooms in second floor and one unused room in the attic, so Kendall will not be moving, she will stay in her old room. So Gigi where do you want to stay attic or my room? Harry and I can move to the attic if you want to stay in my room"

"You and Harry will share room?" I asked

"yeah, I don't want you guys to think that I am using this as an opportunity to share a room with my girlfriend"

"I don't want to share rooms" Harry said

"Then sleep on the couch" I told him directly

"Oh, that's a great idea, why don't YOU get the couch and I will have your room"

"Excuse me?' I raised my voice and about to stand up when Zayn beat me to it

"Enough! Thought we're all doing good. I will have the couch then"

"No way" Gigi and I said in unison

"Babe, staying here is too much to ask and letting you sleep on the couch is like disrespecting you as the owner of the house"

"There's no more options babe, it's already decided. Val in her old room, you will have my room and Harry will be at the attic"

"There's still one option that is surely be a good thing for all of us" I said

"I will stay at my old room definitely" I cleared my throat "Harry will have the attic and both you and Gigi will stay in your room" I suggested

"But, sis. I don't want you to think that I am using this as an excuse to spend time with my girlfriend and----" I cut him off

"For Christ sake, what are you 15?" "Just stay in one room with your girlfriend, I honestly don't mind" I smiled to the both of them, which they honestly both like

"I don't agree" we all look at Harry once he said those words

"And who are you to disagree?"

"Kendall" Zayn scolded me

"Hear me out first" Harry said " I don't want to stay in the attic. Since you and Gigi will stay together why don't you get the attic, me in Zayn's room cause we all know here that you both needed a big space for---hmmm- you know" he blushed after speaking

"I don't mind" Gigi said

"the boy have a point" Zayn says and I just nod to end the room assignment discussion
