Tyler's pov
I woke up on Max's chest and woke him up "good morning baby" "morning baby" he kisses me and makes breakfast. Max's mom walks in from a long night at work "Tyler are you going home today?" "Yea, I was wondering if max could stay a few nights at my place since my parents are on vacation" she nods and goes to her bedroom.
*After breakfast*
Me and max walk to my house and see Tate again on his porch looking at the sky. "Tate hey!" He looks and Waves. We walk over to his porch and decide to talk to him for a while. Max asks how he likes his place he shrugs. We ask him a few more questions then I ask him "hey Tate listen I know this is really personal and you don't have to answer it but...are you abused?". Tate looks at me with a tear falling from his face whispering his answer to us "Y-yes I need h-help". Me and max both comfort him. We hear a loud yelling inside his house "WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT LITTLE BITCH" Tate hides and tells us to run. We hide at the corner of his house and watch. His dad opens the door, grabs Tate by the hand and smacks him across the face. Something inside me wants to go up to him and punch him but I can't. His dad drags Tate inside and slams the door. I fall to my knees and cry because of what I just witnessed. Max asks if he should call the police but I say no. We just go inside my place and think about how to help Tate. I look out the window and see Tate outside on his porch again. I walk outside and ask Tate if he wants to come over. He accepts and comes inside. He sits criss cross on the couch wearing his hoodie with the hood over his head. I look at his face to see the hand print on his cheek still there and get some ice for him. What a day.....what a day...
