She stood in front of the gate, gazing through, her eyes focused on the land that was so close yes so far. She was a colourful girl. Yes that's right. She's felt all emotions she could feel, and each time she felt an emotion, the colour that represented that emotion was vibrantly printed on her skin, she had all the colours basically. Red for anger, Orange for silly, Yellow for happiness, Lime green for fear, Green for jealousy, Blue for sadness, Purple for confidence, and Pink for love. She just had one problem. Her pink strip on her body was fading.. Love.
She was in love, but all her friends told her she couldn't be in love with someone who stood on the other side of the gate. She was in love someone on the " other side "
There are two different places only separated by a gate. Kinda like heaven and earth huh? No. Heaven and earth were separated by sky and land. This was different. These two places were on the same land, but only separated by a gate. Now you can say it's kinda like neighbours.. you separate your house and your neighbours house by a fence or gate. This is what it exactly was. She was a colourful girl, so she was on one side, the side where all colourful people stay. And behind the gate was the boy she loved, " the monochrome boy " the other side of the gate was an opposite. Nothing was colourful, everything was dull, and everybody felt numb. This was the monochrome part of the land. At night the gate would be unlocked, no security measures because nobody from the colourful land wanted to cross paths into the monochrome land, and nobody from the monochrome land wanted to cross paths into the colourful land. She looked over to the monochrome land all day. Her group of friends tried getting her attention for a couple of minutes, till she finally saw them. " I'm so sorry. Wow, it's already getting dark, we should head back. I'm sorry for making you guys worry. " and just like that her friends linked arms with her and walked back to their homes. Every person in the land had their own home, nobody lived together, except for a family raising their children to 14   So they may live life on their own. But there were neighbours, stores, and more. She got undressed, peeling off her white clothing from her body. Everybody in the colourful land wore white, the only colour they wore was white. It didn't matter what styles of clothing they wore, as long as it was white. When it was dark out, everybody's pyjamas were not white. She pulled over her bra, a red hoodie, with a cute bulldog in the centre, and a pair of grey shorts. She smiled at herself in her mirror as she looked at her bare feet. She ran back over to her wardrobe, grabbing herself some white ankle socks. She was ready to go.  She grabbed her keys, tiptoeing out the door and locking it quietly. She ran past the houses where everything was grass to the gate. She could see him, gosh she loved this. Every night she would run to the gate so she wasn't late and she would see his black hair and 5'9 slender body, sitting in front of the gate and seeing that made her pink stripe on her body glow furiously pink.
