Tragic (chapter 2)

I had just fallen into a deep sleep when my stupid alarm goes off.

"Oh great" I said because I hardly got any sleep.

I changed into my jeans and shirt & put on my black converse.I headed down stairs for breakfest and thank god my dad was still asleep in his room or who knows what he would do to me.I grabed a bagle and cream cheese and left to the bath room to brush my teeth.I went to my room to grab my backpack & left. I waited at the bus stop with my friend Alyssa.She was talking about some guy she liked but I wasn't paying attention at all because I was remembering how hard my father hit me last night.The more I thought about the more I wanted to cry,but of course I wasnt gonna cry in public.Finally the bus came and we got on. I had planned on Alyssa sitting next to me but she sat next to Adrina.I found an Empty seat in the back and sat down.Then I was on on my phone until I heard a harsh and deep voice talk to me.

"Scoot over!"said Oscar,I mean Cameron.

"No i'm saving a spot." I lied trying to avoid eye contact with him.

"Look just scoot your little ass over and let me sit!and plus there no one else coming."Cameron harshly remarked.

"Ok fine." I gave in, I had no other choice.

The whole bus ride to Joradan High School was akward.Until Cameron broke the silence.

"Hey....ummm so whats your name?"he asked me.

"First you tell me to scoot my little ass over and now you want to know my name, I dont think so!"I told him.

"Look im sorry it's just that I was in a bad mood, so sorry."

"By the way my name is Cameron,Cameron Dallas."he added.

"It's fine,I guess."

"My name is Catherine Lopez,but you can call me Cathy."Isaid

"Well nice to meet you Cathy."he said

"Um yeah, nice to meet you too."

Finally the bus was at school and we got of the bus and I heard Cameron call my name.

"Cathy,umm well,i'll see you around."Cameron said.

"Yeah, see you around."I said

When I got to my regular hang out spot my best friend Marina was already there there.

"Hey Cathy!" Marina said giving me a big hug.

"Hi Marina!"I said said hugging her back.

We had a full converesatoion until the first bell to get to class rang.We said our good-byes and left to homeroom.Periods 2-4 went by so fast,the next thing you know it's lunch!At lunch I sat with Marina,Alyssa,& some of her freinds.When lunch was over I had P.E. Lucky for me Marina was in that class with me because you do alot of partner activities.So we headed to the locker rooms.As I was changing I totally forgot my thighs and feet were bruised so I tried to change as fast I can but I guess I didn't because Marina noticed.

"What happened to your legs?"she ask really worried.

"Oh it's nothing I fell to the floor yesterday when I was trying to reach a high shelf in the kitchen and there was a ring on the counter that I found on the floor and I stepped on it and

I fell and hit my thighs on the cabnit,dont worry about it though,im fine."I assured her.

"I dont know Cathy, Why is it your always getting hurt?Does your dad abuse of you?"she asked

I thought in my head for a moment if I should tell her the truth about my father,but then i had a flashback when my father threatend to beat me to death if I ever told anyone that he abused of me or that he did drugs.

"No, he doesnt and if he did I would tell you,wouldnt I."I said.

"Well if you want to talk just know that im here for you."Marina told me and reached in for a hug.

"Well we better head out to the gym."I said and we did.

When we got to the gym we had to wait out side because the teacher wasnt here yet.As i was about to go into the gym i heard a voice.

"Hi Cathy I didnt know you had 5 period P.E."he told me

"Well since we were allowed to change our schedule because the semester ended I thought I would get 5 period P.E." I said.
