Cathy's P.O.V.

I woke up early, but i didn't feel like going to school. I couldn't go to school when i sit next to Cameron in multiple classes. I don't know where to go, i don't want to stay here in Jacks house when he's not here. I don't know what to do. I went in to the bathroom and dialed Matt's number.

"Hey Cathy what's up." Matthew said in his morning voice.

"Hey Matt, I was wondering if maybe i can stay at your place." I said.

"Like in missing school or?" He asked.

"Yeah i have some problems." I said as memories ran through my mind. I felt a hot tear go down my face.

"Oh ok are you at your house?" Matt asked.

"No, I'm actually at Gilinsky's place." I said.

"Ok." He said a bit confused.

"I'll explain everything later." I said.

"Ok ill be there in 10 ." He said.

"Ok bye." I said and we hung up.

I opened the bathroom door and saw Jack awake sitting down in his bed.

"Good morning Cathy." He said.

"Good morning Jack." I said.

"What do you want for breakfast?" He asked.

"Um, actually I'm leaving. I called Matt and he's picking me up." I said.

"Oh ok." He said.

"Im sorry, but thank you for letting me stay." I said.

"It was no problem really." He said.

5 minuets later i heard my phone ring. I got a text from Matt that read

"Im here."

I replied and went to go say goodbye to Jack.

"Jack, Matt is here. Thank you for everything." I said.

"Anything for you beautiful." He said as he hugged me and kissed my cheek.

There was a knot in my stomach when he kissed my cheek. My checks grew red and i opened the door and left. Did i have feelings for Jack? It wasn't the same feeling when Cam kissed me, but it felt good. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Matt honked at me.

I quickly got in his car and hugged him. He hugged me back and i began to cry. I couldn't hold it on anymore. I told myself i wouldn't cry anymore at Jack's place.

"Why." I cried into Matt's chest.

"Its gonna be ok Cathy." Matt assured me.

"No it's not Matt." I said.

"Cathy i know you, your a brave, beautiful, strong girl who can get through anything its gonna be alright lets go to my place and we will talk about it." He said.

"Ok." I said as i placed my head on the window.

Im glad i have Matt as a best friend because he's always there for me. We need more Matthew Espinosa's in this world.

We walked into Matt's room and i hugged him.

"Matt." I cried.

"Why is my life like this." I asked.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Full of lies, betrayal, violence." I asked.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Where do i start i sobbed." I said as we sat down on Matt's bed.

"Its ok Cathy, take your time." He said.

I took a gulp and spoke up.

"Matt, Cam cheated on me." I said.

"He what?" Matt asked shocked.

"He cheated on me Matt." I cried.

"I know Cameron, he's like a brother to me, i don't think he would cheat on you. Every time we hang, your all he talks about. There must be something behind this." He said.

"So your taking Cam's side when we have been best friends since kinder?" I cried harder.

"No, no, no Cathy you've got it all wrong. Im just saying Cam doesn't seem like that type. Have you heard his side of the story?" Matt asked.

"No." I said looking down.

"You should hear what he has to say." Matt said.

"Matt, Im not ready to hear what he has to say." I said.

"How did you find out?" He asked.

"I saw Cam's phone." I said.

"With who?" He asked.

"Marina." I said.

"Marina!" He said shocked.

"Yeah she been really clingy on him recently, so it didn't surprise me this slut was seeing him." I said crying harder than before.

"Shh Cathy it will get better i promise." He said trying to calm me down.

"I can't keep this away from you any longer, you're my best friend i think you deserve to know everything that has gone on." I said.

Matts face became worried.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Matt, my dad has abused of me my whole child hood until now. He drinks, he does drugs. He threatened to kill me if i ever told anyone. You and Cam are the only people i have ever told about this. He has made y life hell, you don't even know. He leaves me bruises on my body i wear long sleeves to cover them and wear pants." I said more tears coming out of my eyes.

"Cathy, why did you never tell me this?" I asked.

"Im sorry Matt, i didn't have the guts to. I was so afraid." I said.

"All theses years i could have helped you." He said as a tear went down his cheek.

"Matt don't cry." I said as i hugged him tighter.

"Cathy, you being abused for so long breaks my heart. I wish you would have told me sooner." He said.

"I was afraid Matt, Im so sorry." I said.

I told him about everything that has happened. Everything that went on with my dad and Cam and how he didn't want me back in the house, even though i wouldn't go back.

"Have you eaten?" He said.

"No im not hungry." I said.

"You have to eat something eventually." He said.

It was barely noon and we still hadn't ate breakfast. I was lost in my thoughts until Matt spoke up.

"How about we order pizza?" He suggested.

"Sure." I said.

Matt dialed the local dominoes number and ordered 1 large pizza with pineapple and sausage.
About an hour later the pizza man came and we ate.

This was just a filler chapter. Don't worry i have lots of things planned!
