Small paws dashed from right to left as they navigated through the thick brush. a jagged paw swiped at his ear but he ducked swiftly. As soon as that single blow was made, it was war. The albino boy turned on a thick furred brute, who he knew rather well. Ashenpaw's eyes burned with a hidden emotion as he slashed at his mentors muzzle before snarling deeply.
" that all you got? " he said sarcastically as he ducked under Bearthroat's chest before sliding and flipping him over. suddenly, the eibd was knocked from his body and a searing pain was felt in his chest. He looked up to see the toms gaze looking into his with pure first ambition. Ashenpas screamed as he wouldn't let go of his chest. Blood stained his fur as he slithered out of the cats grip with a heave. Ashenpaw stumbled aside, holding his chest to prevent major blood loss. he had been in many brutal training sessions like this previously, but bearthroat had taken it to a whole other level this time.
" you've got a lot to learn kid. so don't press your luck, " he sneered from afar, a slight chuckle pricing his thin lips.
" ye' damn bastard, " the young tom spat as he nremoved a bloody paw from his chest. breathe in...and out. In...and...out. He coached himself internally as he recovered from his injury. The slow breathing eased the pulsing pain and he glared at his victor crossly. bearthroat glanced st him sympathetically before moving himself to get up and pitch in.
He pressed a paw on Ashenlegs shoulder.
" Ah, let's fix you up.. " he purred before stalking off to go and find medicine. a moments wink later he came back with a few poppy seeds and a thick wad of cobwebs.
