I Won't Let You Get Hurt

Tori grabbed her phone and dialed Cat's number.

"Tori? It's not safe to talk right now. They could be tracing this." Cat said, but before she could hang up Tori shouted her name.

"Cat! I can help!"

"Tori, stay out of it. Save yourself like Andre does."

Then Cat hung up. Tori sighed and put her phone back into her pocket.

"Andre knows and just stays out of it?" She frowned then grabbed her jacket and left.

She rode her bike to Andre's house and knocked on the door rapidly and loudly.

"Sup, Tor?" Andre said with a bright smile.

"You knew about Noah and acted like you didn't!" She yelled. His smile fell and he ushered her in.

"Ssh. Tor, I can explain, but be quiet and come inside. Okay?"

She nodded, but she was still glaring at him.

She sat down on his couch and he sat down in the chair across from her.

"Explain. How can you-"

"My grandmother can not handle having the mob bust in here or shoot up the place from outside someday! I can not be another relative getting caught up in dangerous chiz like this!" He yelled then he calmed down. "I can't get involved in some mob thing and yes I know Beck is my best friend and Jade is his girl, but I already have two cousins that I am never allowed to talk about because they are both in gangs!" He started yelling again. "I can't be involved and you can't either! Stay out of this Tori! Please!" He yelled standing up.

Tori stood up quickly. "I can't! Believe it or not I consider Jade one of my best friends and this is ruining her! I can't just sit by and not help! Jade isn't as horrible or as psycho as I thought and I have to do something to help her!" Tori yelled walking around the table to the door, but Andre grabbed her by the arms.

"Listen! I know she isn't that bad and I know you care about her! I do too! But this is beyond us!" He started shaking her. "You can not become part of this! I won't let you!"

Tori looked appalled. "You can't tell me what to do! I am going to help!"

She tried to yank her arms away, but he tightened his grip.

"No! I won't let you get hurt! Or worse! I couldn't take it if something happened to you! Your my girl!" Andre yelled then he realized what he said and calmed down slowly letting go of her. "I mean I- I just-" He gulped.

Tori backed away. "I have to go find Cat and Jade. I- Beck is in jail- I don't have time for this." She left and Andre frowned.

"Why did I say that?" He sighed and sat down. "Man, I messed up... Wait... BECK'S IN JAIL?!!!"

He got up and ran out the door to catch up with her.
