Ch.20

Bree kept on running and running. She had to stop. So she did. She was coughing like heck. She felt like she was gonna puke. Her heart was racing like 100 per second. She was breathing heavy and holding her chest. She hated running but she didn't have no choice. Well she did, but decided to run. It was getting late so she decided to go on top of the roof top to watch the sunset go down and watch all the lights turn on. She smiled and sighed. She was getting tired but she didn't know if she could go back. She knew that they were looking for her. She looked down. " it's all my fault" she whispered. " no it's not" a familiar voice said. Bree jumped and turn around to see all four of them looking at her. The four sat next to her looking at the lights. Bree started to cry and hug Mikey but wanted the others to hug her. " I'm so sorry" Bree said feeling ashamed. " don't be. It's all gonna be alright. Donnie made you medicine to help you." Mikey said. " really?" Bree asked looking up at them. " yes really" donnie said smiling. "I love you guys" Bree said sniffing as Mikey whipped the tears away. " we love you too" they said hugging her. Bree felt safe write in there arms. " I'm sorry I said that stuff to you. I don't know what hit me to do that" Mikey said. " that's ok, I forgive you" Bree said looking up at him. " really" he said looking down at her. " yup" she said looking back at the lights. Mikey smiled and did the same. The five of them looked at the beautiful lights and stars shinning. They stood like that for like a half hour until Leo said it was time to go home. They nodded and went. Instead of Bree walking, Mikey gave her a piggy back ride. " aren't I hurting your back?" Bree asked. " nah, your good dudette" Mikey said smiling looking up at her. When they got home, all of them of them ate pizza and laughing. " well that was a hecktic day." Bree said eating her pizza. " it sure was! But at least it all ended good." Donnie said giving Bree her medicine. Bree took it and had one heck of a funny face. They started laughing even harder. Bree's face looked like she just ate something sour and her eye was twitching. " it's so minty!" Bree said. " well I had to make you the liquid because you can't swallow pills." Donnie explained. " I rather take the liquid" Bree said with a weird face. They all smiled at each other and knew from this day on, Bree would be a happy girl and live, to love herself, and to laugh...
