Getting eyes to line up and mirror each other is hard, so try this: torameo
1. Start out with the basic face shape
2. Add two circles for the iris.
3. Draw a line that connects the bottom of both circles. This step can and should be done before step two, but oh well. Add the top lid
4. Add the pupil and try to make it center, this is the hardest part.
5. Ink it with markers (or ink lol)
6. Do the bottom lid.
7. Finish the final details, and you're done!
Eyes don't HAVE to line up perfectly to look good though, a little of-centeredness can help your character to look unique and almost more likeable. Nobody likes a Barbie-doll face :/
those eyes aren't lined up perfectly, but they still look so cool!
Fiddle and mess with the drawing till it looks good to your eyes, that's all that matters. What you think.
:) Hope this helped someone!
