Sorry for the long wait! :)

Darcy’s POV

This is the plan: I was going to act like everything was normal. I was going to continue my job as One Direction’s bodyguard. I would, however, be helping my brother at the same time. Caiden, Kris, and Mark were going to meet up with the leader of Elevated and come to an agreement, hopefully. Once they compromise, I would show up and we would have a lot of people to be our back-up. We would take down Elevated once and for all.

I reviewed the plan over and over again in my head. Something wasn’t right. How could Elevated possibly have my brother? He’s taken self defense classes since age five. Drew has more experience than almost anyone I’ve ever known. My head was pounding at the thought process.

I pounded my fist into the wall and yelled. How was I supposed to get Drew out of the Elevated’s hands without getting him killed? I couldn’t ask any of the boys for help, of course, because they don’t know anything about what I do. I bit my fingernails and started shaking.

I jumped when the door opened. Louis strode in and told me to get ready for another interview. I sighed and pulled on some black skinny jeans. I put on some white flats, accompanied by a white shirt with some floral designs on it. I brushed through my hair and brushed my teeth.

I looked in the mirror and I did not see myself. I saw a frightened little girl. I had to stop being that scared little girl and grow up. I had to save my brother. If that meant risking my own life, then so be it.

I walked out of mine and Zayn’s room and found myself deserted. I left the hotel room and ran into Will.

“Hurry, Darcy! You’re going to be late!” He shouted.

We ran to an elevator and waited rather impatiently for it to go down to the main floor. The elevator door opened, and Will and I darted out of there. Thankfully we reached the limo before it left. I sat in between Harry and Zayn.

“Thanks for waiting,” I said with sarcasm.

“Sorry, but we were going to be late…” Harry said.

“It doesn’t matter anymore,” I spat.

I was starting to get tired. Tired of what, you may ask? Everything. I felt someone’s hand pat my back.

“Don’t touch me,” I said.

“Calm down,” Zayn said quietly.

“Sorry. I’ve got a lot of things on my mind…” I said.

Zayn just nodded.

We arrived at a huge building. I practically jumped out of the limo. No fans were around, so I didn’t bother walking alongside the boys.

My cell phone rang once I got inside.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Where are you? I’m coming to get you now!” I heard Kris yell.

“What happened?!” I asked.

“The leader of Elevated tricked us, Darcy. He told us we could make a compromise, but then a bomb went off at the place we met at…” Kris started coughing.

“Kris, are you there?!” I asked.

I ran to the bathroom so no one would hear my conversation.

“Yes, I’m here… but Elevated,” Kris was coughing again, “Darcy, they have Caiden too.”

My blood ran cold.

“Darcy, I’m sending Emilee to get you. You’ll both ride to SKC’s lair by helicopter,” He said.

“Emilee Foster?” I asked.

“Yes, Darcy. The lair is located in England. Drew and Caiden are somewhere in Manchester.”

“I’m in Wolverhampton. That’s about an hour and a half distance, right?” I asked.

“Yes. Don’t leave until Emilee gets there, though. She should be arriving in about thirty minutes,” He said.

“Wait, I never told you where I was…” I said.

“Drew put a tracking device in your phone,” Kris said.

I rolled my eyes.

“Bye Kris. I will get Drew and Caiden back safely.”

“I know you will. Bye,” Kris hung up.

I tried to calm down. I ran my hands through my hair. I went into a stall and looked through my bag. I took of my skinny jeans and put on some black pants that I could run better in. I also put on a bulletproof vest and a long-sleeved, black shirt on over it. I walked out and I didn’t see any of the One Direction boys anywhere. Good. Now they won’t be able to bug me about where I’m going…

I saw Will wandering around, so I ran up to him and tapped his shoulder.

“Huh? Oh, hey Darcy,” He said.

“Will, will the boys be okay if I’m gone for a few days?” I asked him.

“What?! The boss of security will be furious!” Will said.

“I’ll…bring one more new bodyguard back with me!” I said.

“Well, I’ll have to talk it over with Paul…” He said.

“Great, bye!” I shouted over my shoulder as I ran.

I hoped Emilee wouldn’t mind that I just volunteered her to become a bodyguard for One Direction.

I just ran through the front doors until I came into contact with someone.

“Emilee!” I yelled.

“Darcy!” She screamed.

We hugged and then she dragged me outside.

Her eyes were suddenly filled with tears at the sight of me.

The helicopter was now landing, and it was very loud.

Emilee turned to look at me.

“Let’s go save our brothers,” She said.

I nodded, and together we boarded the helicopter.

It wasn’t a long flight at all. We had to land a few miles away from the lair to avoid them finding out about us. Emilee and I got off the helicopter and got on a motorcycle. I drove because Drew taught me a few years back and Emilee wasn’t really comfortable driving. I took a deep breath and started the engine.

The lair was now in seeing distance. I parked the motorcycle. Emilee and I walked the rest of the distance. I was shaking from the nerves. We got to the entrance and I knew something was wrong.

I received a test from an unknown number.

From: Number Unknown

“Go around the back. Break through the window and get in. -K”

I figured out that it was from Kris.

I showed Emilee the text and she simply nodded her head. We didn’t make a sound as we went around to the back of the building. I kicked the window in, and the shattering glass made a loud noise. I looked around to make sure no one heard, and then I shimmied my way into the room. Emilee came down after me. Now we have to find Drew and Caiden…

I saw Emilee’s eyes widen.

“DARCY! BEHIND YOU!!!” She shouted.

Before I had time to turn around, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. I fell into an unconscious state of blackness.
