Shattered

It was like the world was going in slow motion and all I heard was a high pitch ringing. Etel was screaming with her hands over her mouth crying . Jason had an evil grin and as I looked past him on the floor was Aiden laying on the living room floor holding under his right peck. Blood covering his hands dripping onto the carpet. Suddenly everything hit me at once. He was shot trying to save us. I ran to Aiden side taking off the little cardigan I was wearing holding it to the wound.

"What the fuck have you done !" I screamed looking at Aiden.

"Hold on baby hold on its ok." I said to Aiden as tears fell down my face. He tried to say something but he started to cough and blood came out. Etel was on the floor crying covering her ears rocking back and forth.

"Now that the party has really started, let's get the real show on the road." Jason said as he walked over and hit me over the head with his gun. My head was pounding and my vision blurred. And thats when I heard our front door open.

"Adella!" My mom screamed running towards me. Jason backhanded my mother causing her to fall back. Her boyfriend charged at him and Jason shot him right in the head.

"NOOO!" My mother screamed crawling towards him.

"Mom! Aiden he's bleeding out please , please help him." I said.

"Shut the fuck up!" Jason yelled. "No one is moving anywhere you hear me?" He grabbed me by the hair and sat me on the couch. He grabbed Etel and my mother sitting them next to me.

"Now if you ladies listen then no one else has to get hurt. Adella stand up." I didnt move. I couldn't, and thats when he grabbed me and stood me up. He stared at me for a good minute and then punched me in the stomach. I fell to the floor gasping for air clutching my stomach. Then he kicked me twice and started to laugh. I couldn't move I couldn't breathe. My baby, my poor baby. My mother and Etel started to scream and my mother dropped to my side.

"Adella breathe baby breathe." She was rubbing my hair. And thats when I felt my water broke. But it wasn't just my water, blood staring coming out too. My mothers eyed widen.

"Ahh seems I've done the job. She should be having that baby in no time. And since we have a doctor here everything should go smoothly." He smiled.

"For all we know, the baby could be dead because of you, you fucking asshole!" My mother screamed at Jason. I felt the pain hit me all at once. I couldn't speak or move.

"Adella its ok baby I promise you we will be ok." she kept rubbing my forehead.

"Mom it hurts bad. Please." I don't know what I was asking for but I just needed something. I needed Aiden. I couldn't believe this was happening. My baby might die, Aiden is dying everything was falling apart.

As time went by the pain was getting worse. I was drenched in sweat only wearing my sports bra. My mother had told me I was 6 cm along. Jason kept asking how long and my mother would glare at him and tell him to shut the fuck up.

"Well since this is taking its sweet time, I want to have some fun." he got up and walked over to Etel and sat next to her. He put his arms around her and started pushing her down to lay on the couch. He took her pants off and thats when I realized what he was going to do. he was going to rape her. That son of a bitch was going to hurt my best friend. We all started to scream. My mom tried to help and he punched her in her face knocking her out cold. I was useless. He took his pants off throwing them on the other side of the couch and was begging to start his torture. And thats when someone tackled him over and then shot him straight in his head. It was Aiden. He fell to the side and scooted towards me.

"Adella I'm so sorry. For all of this." He said weakly.

"Aiden please hold on please." I cried "Etel please call for help!" Etel ran I to the kitchen. I heard her call for help. Next thing I knew the ambulance was carrying us all out. My contractions were begging to become unbearable. Please just let everyone be safe.
