I unlocked the door to my house and allowed tom to enter. He did and took a look around as I closed the door behind me.
"Wow this is a nice house for someone who lives alone," he commented as he fell onto my fluffy white couch.
"Yeah, this used to be my grandma's house but she passed away so my parents allowed me to have it since I didnt have enough money to buy my own house." I laughed awkwardly and sat right next to him.
"Oh rip sorry bout your grandma, but you should've just gotten an apartment or something," tom said adjusting himself so he wasn't taking up the whole couch, since I was squished to the end of it.
"Yeah I know but my parents really wanted me to have a real house so I can have a family and all that," I smiled. "Hey you want something to drink?" I got up and started walking towards the kitchen.
"Uh yeah, you have any alcohol?" He looked over the couch at me.
"Uhm yeah I have some beer, but dont you think its a bit early to be drinking?" I asked. He shrugged.
"I don't really care about that. I'll steal one of your beers." He slides back to a seating position and plays with my TV. I sigh and go into the kitchen and grab two beers for the both of us. I mean I would rather have some soda, but who could go wrong with a beer?
I return to the living room and sit down. I hand Tom one of the beers while I open my own. He does the same and starts ro drink some.
"So anyway, how did you manage to get 3 roommates?" I ask looking at him. He looks over and again shrugs. "We all were just looking for a house really. I mean its not like we're strangers or anything we all are friends so," He takes another sip.
