Chapter Two - Boyfriend
I look over to my boyfriend. Who would have though? Me, Reed Archer, captain and quarterback dating Justice Homer, my rival captain and quarterback.
But I am. Because I like him. We've only been dating for about a year or so. And we didn't have your average "start dating" thing.
It's started at football camp. We were house mates for the two weeks and we were awful towards one another. We would unplug each other's alarm clocks to make the other late, we would turn off the hot water while the other was showering and just awful things like that. It didn't stop when we were on the field either. We would trip each other, tackle each other for no reason, we'd purposely get each other in trouble. It was just overall terrible. Until the end of our first week.
While we were there we were hit with a disastrous thunderstorm. And let me tell you, there are not many things that scare Justice Homer but thunderstorms are at the top of the list. He was so scared. At was the middle of the night and he climbed into my bed with me and literally curled into me, shaking. At that point, I had woken up. We didn't care that we were supposed to be rivals and hate each other. I had wrapped him in my arms and whispered sweet nothings to him. We eventually went to sleep and when we woke up we just kinda stayed like that. I was holding him with my head in his hair and his face was buried in my neck with his arms around me.
When we went to breakfast we learned that the activities were canceled because of the storm. So, we just kinda chilled at our cabin. And from then on things started to change. We didn't torture each other, but we still acted like we hated one another in public. We didn't sleep in the same bed again until the middle of the second week. We were hanging out and both of us fell asleep. But we didn't really start dating until later that week. Saturday, I believe.
Saturday night all the boys hung out even though basically half hated the other half. We ended up getting into a truth or dare game. And well the best decision of my life was one I didn't realize at the time.
I said dare and my dare was to kiss Justice. And well when we kissed I guess you could say it was love at first kiss. It felt like there were fireworks everywhere. It was heavenly and he tasted like a forbidden fruit.
"Hey, Reed, where'd ya go?" My boyfriend asks cutely.
"Nowhere baby." I replied with a smile.
"Penny for your thoughts?" He asked, smiling back at me.
"Just thinking about our first kiss at camp." We both chuckled.
"I probably tasted disgusting. I had just eaten garlic and parmesan chips and I didn't brush my teeth." He does this adorable nose thing where he scrunched up his nose. I kiss his nose and smiled.
"I didn't even notice. You tasted delicious, like fruit."
"Oh no I didn't. I have never regretted eating anything as much as I did eating those chips before kissing you." He laughs. I peck his lips.
"I don't care if you had just eaten a pile of shit. You'd still taste great cause it's you. And I really like you." I kiss his cheek. He blushes and tries to push me away.
"Stop, you're too sweet and I really like you too."
"Alright now where's this jacuzzi I keep hearing you talk about." I smirk.
"Come with me." We both stand up and he takes me hand before pausing. "Wait I need a bathing suit. And so do you."
I shrug. "Or we go naked." He rolls his amber eyes at me.
"Oh shush, c'mon I can give you the full guided tour of the laundry room and my bedroom" He states and starts to lead me somewhere in his enormous mansion sized house.
