10 years later

(Logan's pov)

I was walking down the hallway of the school bored out of my mind, "Logan!" I turn around but before I could recognise who it was they have already jumped and wrapped there arms around my neck. I knew who it was once I gained my balance, "Hey pup," that was the nickname I gave Jasmine, she has been doing so well since she got here, she can finally speak she still gets words mixed up, but other than that I was able to hear her beautiful voice. We were able to teach her how to control her powers, It was a lot of work but we managed it. 

Over the years I have grown a lot of feelings for Jasmine, after everything she has been through she always has a smile on her face and a bubbly personality that you can't not love, Like I do.

Yes I have fallen in love with Jasmine, but I don't think she knows what love is. We never told her about love or marriage, or any of the dirty. 

(Jasmine's pov)

I looked at Logan and he was staring at me deep in thought with a little smile on his face, I poked him in the stomach and said, "your staring at me again," I laughed, " I can't help it pup, I love looking at you," he said, "Why", I asked, "because your beautiful," he said. Does that mean he likes the way I look? "Jasmine?" he said, he only says my real name if he is being serious, "do you know what love is" he asked me, " does it mean when two people like each other like we do," I asked, I have herd of love before but never really looked into it in detail, "well yes, but love is when you like a person more than a friend type, it's when two people want to be around each other all the time, they want to hold them and never let go because their afraid of losing them, they want to kiss them all day and all night, cuddle them when your asleep to make sure they are with you. To tell them you love them everyday so they have every reason to love you back." he said looking deep into my eyes. Wow, I really want to know what love feels like now. 

Just then storm came up to me and asked me if I could help her with something, "I'll see you later bubby," that is the nickname I gave Logan because I always hear him call people bub. I went of with storm and called for Alduga, he is alway outside doing something to keep him happy. 

Today me and storm were going to the ocean to help people who are stranded out at sea. There has been a shark sighting and they are surrounding people stuck on a rock sticking out of the ocean just enough so the shark can't get them. It was my job today to help rescue them. "it's ok ill do the work, it's just simply flying over there, grabbing them and flying back." I said, storm looked at me worried but agreed, as she new she couldn't really do anything with the weather as it could hurt the people. " ok but use your phoenix form, you haven't quite got the hand of your dragon form." I nodded and transformed into a phoenix.

I flew over and there were three people stranded, so one got on my back and I carried the other two with my feet. we got back to the shaw safely but one person shouted, "My camera" storm tried to convince them that they don't need it but the person was throwing a fit, she walked up to me and started shouting at me to go back and grab her camera, "why do you need your camera so badly," storm asked, "because it has all my family photos on their, all my family is dead and those photos are all I have left of them," she cried. I knew what it's like to not be with your family. I looked at storm and she nodded, Alduga was trying to tell me not to go, like he new something bad was going to happen, but I calmed him down by pressing my beak to his head to let him know ill be alright, so flew back over to the rock. 

But my biggest mistake was flying to low.
