Logan Howlett and his lost girl

Part 13

(Logan's pov)

I watched her fly away, that demon that has taken over Jasmine, just took her away from me. "We have to be ready, I need cerebro to find out were and when she is going to attack first." the professor said. I looked at him and nodded, we walked to cerebro and he let me watch. The professor finally found her, she was still in flight on her way to Magneto.

(Jasmine's pov)

I was nearly there, god I can't believe this girl stayed with them pathetic mutants, honestly why didn't she just take his offer in the first place. I finally made it, he must have known I was coming because he was by the entrance of his little hideout in the mountain. I landed and turned human again. "Jasmine, you made it," he said patting my shoulder, "I hate this girls name, I want to change it," I said grinning, "What to," 

"Creature"

I tried so hard to fight back, but I couldn't do anything. I felt so week and stupid that I let this happen to me. I miss Logan. I remember the professor teaching me something, he told me that if I'm strong enough I could reach someones mind and talk to them, but only for a short amount of time. When she goes to sleep tonight I'm gonna try and reach Logan, to tell him what he needs to do when he finds me....well....the only thing he can do to save everyone.

He is gonna have to kill me.

(Logan's pov)

I see Jasmine with Magneto, well she called herself 'creature' now. I wonder if Jasmine is still in there, if she is then its going to be easier to free her. "Logan go get some rest, I have the location they are going to attack, they are going tomorrow night you need your strength," I knew he was right, but this will be the first night without her in my arms.

I walked up stairs and into our room, I got into bed and slowly closed my eyes. Nothing was working, I couldn't go sleep. I looked at the pillow next to me and tried to imagine she was there, looking peaceful when she sleeps. I felt a tear come down my cheek, its my fault this happened to her, she must be so scared. I promised her the day I found her that I would protect her, I can still hear her screamingly name, screaming for help but I didn't get to her in time. I finally closed my eyes and fell asleep.  

I looked around, I was in a room filled with fire. "Hello?" I said, nothing. Where was I. "Logan" I turned around and saw Jasmine. I ran to her put some sort of force pushed me back. "We can't touch Logan." she said looking at me, god I missed the way she looked at me like that. "Jasmine, I'm so sorry, this is all my fault you ended up like this," I said, "This is not your fault Logan, don't you dare think like that.," She said to me, I wish I could go up to her and hold her close. "Jasmine, I'm gonna find you, this is a promise I'm gonna keep this time, I'm gonna find you and bring you home," I said, but she looked down, "Logan, you may be able to stop me, but I won't be able to go home," "what do you mean pup," "Logan, the humans can be saved but I can't, whatever has taken over me has basically erased me from the earth." 

"Jasmine, don't talk like that. There has to be a way to save you," I told her, "There is only one way," "Tell me what to do,"

"You have to kill me"

I looked at her shocked, what was she saying, "What?" "Logan as soon as you see me kill me, before I kill anyone. Its the only way to save everyone." "What about you?" "Im long gone Logan, there is no saving me."

At this point I was on my knees with my head in my hands, "No, no Im not gonna kill you, I'm gonna free you and bring you home with me. We can be happy together again, we can move away from all this, find a house and start a family." I said letting a tear fall, I looked at her and her face was fall of tears, "As much as I would love that, it just can't happen Logan, please if you want to save me......you have to end me."

She then started to fade, "Jasmine whats happening," "She is waking up, it must be time to leave," "Don't go, please don't go." "Logan, I want to thank you." "For what," "For letting me have a life worth living, if you hadn't found me I wouldn't know what to do with my life, I wouldn't know how to speak or anything. Take care of Alduga, he's a good boy."

"Jasmine im so sorry, I love you so much, I love you my beautiful pup,"

"And I love you my handsome bubby,"

And then she was gone.

I woke up to Scott shaking me awake, "Its time to go,"

Im coming Jasmine.
