I woke up in a place I couldn't remember. With a raging headache. The bed was empty and I was wearing someone else's shirt.
Quickly grabbing my clothes I was hoping to dodge Mats on the way out but I met him in the kitchen.
"Trying to sneak out when I'm making you breakfast?"
"Yes. That's what I do. Speaking of what I do... We didn't."
"No. But you insisted on telling me how bad it was when we lost our virginity. Which, I swear it's gotten better."
"I don't usually lie. But I definitely don't when drunk. Are those lingonberries?"This jerk knew I couldn't resist those. I guess I will stay for the pancakes.
"Have fun?"
Everyone was around thee kitchen table, eating their breakfast with bloody mary's. They were the ones I really should have tried to avoid.
I didn't want to talk about it. Didn't want to think about it. Really just wish I could have avoided it.
And I would have if I just stayed sober.
