These past few weeks I've obsessed with my phone. Every chance I get I'm checking for messages from Niall. It has been exactly 17 days since we met. The most magical day of my life but it all felt like a dream. I wish it was a dream so it wouldn't hurt me as much as it does now. Niall made me promise to keep in touch with him, and I've been trying to but the thing is he hasn't been replying. I've texted him a few times, and I haven't gotten one single message back. As each day passes I get that feeling that maybe, just maybe he will contact me. Sadly I've come to the conclusion that he's never going to reply. I keep trying to make up excuses for him like "Oh he's just really busy since he's on tour" or "he's probably super tired from all that travelling and wants to sleep in his spare time." I really thought we had something special between us, but I guess not. Hayden keeps telling me that there is no excuse for him not texting me back. The only thing Autumn has said about this whole situation was that she didn't think he was that type of person. I've basically completely given up with him but there's still that small part of me that wants to believe he has an excuse. I keep thinking to myself what if he eventually messages me. I wouldn't know what to say to him. Hayden told me to just be straight up and confront him but I don't think I would be able to do that. Autumn just stays quiet whenever the topic comes up.

"Okay, I've had enough of this," Hayden exclaims. Last night I asked the girls to come to my house for a sleepover. Ever since Niall I haven't been myself, so I wanted to do something to get my mind off him. I'd been sulking the whole morning and now Hayden was fed up with it. "We are going out to do something fun."

"Yes, I agree one hundred percent." Autumn piped up. I thought about it for a minute.

"I know where we should go. We should go to the amusement park!!" I suggested jumping a little.

"YAAAAAAS!!!" Autumn and Hayden squealed. I hopped off my bed and ran to my closet to get changed. I decided to go with a pair of my favourite black short shorts with a thin white T-Shirt that said Queen of Vacation. When we were dressed, we went into my bathroom to do our makeup. I didn't want to go too overboard so I just went with a simple, natural coloured eye shadow with a bit of eyeliner. I topped it all off with my mascara to complete the look. We finished at the same time and quickly got our shoes and purses and bounded down the stairs. My parents had left early this morning to go to work, so we had the house to ourselves. I quickly sent my mom a text telling her what we would be doing in case she came home before we did. I opened the fridge and pulled out a bowl of freshly cut fruit and some yogurt for breakfast. Quickly, we ate our food and were headed off. The amusement park that we were going to was about an hour away. We always took turns with driving and today it was my turn.

The whole drive there we had the music cranked, and like always we were singing our hearts out. I was super excited to go on all the rides. My favourite ride is this old wooden rollercoaster. The thing is ancient and rickety and kinda terrifying, but I loved it.

When we got there, trying to park was a lot easier than I thought it would've been. I was super surprised there weren't many people there. While Autumn paid for our parking, Hayden and I went to wait in the short line up to get into the park. Soon enough we got our day passes and were ready to go on some rides. Hayden really wanted to go on the swinging ride first. This ride raised you up very very very high in the sky and spun you around in a circle. When you were up there you could see the whole city. Hayden and Autumn sat beside each other and I sat beside a stranger. I didn't mind though, it was kind of nice to be next to someone I didn't know. The girl didn't talk to me the entire time and I was relieved. This is the ride where I liked to close my eyes and pretend that I'm flying with the wind blowing my hair back and out of my face. Being really high up in the sky gives me a sense of joy. Also the view was absolutely beautiful. When the ride stopped and we were on the ground once again, and I told the girls that we needed to do that in the dark because then we would be able to see all the cities lights and it would be even more gorgeous.

We went on a few more rides and then finally my all time favourite ride, the wooden roller coaster. My heart started to beat with anticipation. I've been waiting all day to go on this one. Since today the park wasn't loaded with people, the line for the rollercoaster moved swiftly. Before we knew it, it was our turn.

"We have to go in the very front!" I said to Hayden and Autumn.

"Ummm...I vote Hayden goes in the front with you and I'll sit in the cart behind." Autumn said shaking a bit.

"Sounds good to me." Hayden high-fived me and we hopped into the front cart. Soon we started rolling. The worst part of this ride is in the beginning where you are rolling up to the top just waiting to drop. It was also my favourite part. As the carts reach the top my heart races waiting for the thrill. Being in the very front gave you the most experience of the ride. When we roll over the very top and start descending down it feels as though all the air has been sucked out of you. I gripped my hands on the bar keeping us locked in and help on for dear life. You know those people who let go and put their hands up in the air? Those are the types of people you need to watch out for. It's like they are asking for a death wish. No matter how many times I go on this rollercoaster I will never let go. Each bump we go over my stomach drops to my feet. When we zip around the corners it makes me fly into Hayden, and we both start laughing barely able to breathe. All too soon it's over and I immediately want to wait in line all over again. But when I look at Autumn I know that the roller coaster was out last ride of the day. Her face was so pale she looked like a ghost.

"Autumn are you okay?" Hayden asked with her voice full of concern.

"Ye...Yeah. I'm fine. That ride just got me a little shaken up I guess." She looked like she was about to cry.

"Hey, it's going to be okay," I put my arm around her and brought her close to me. "You wanna leave now?" She nodded her head and off we went. As much as I would've loved to ride the roller coaster again, my friends always come first. We were about to jump into my Jeep when I heard my text tone. My heart started to beat faster, and my eyes just about leaped out of my head. Hayden and Autumn intently watched me as I fished out my iPhone. With shaky hands I lifted my phone out of my purse about to find out who had just texted me. Could it be him?
