Immediately after the incident I was summoned by the manger Mr. Wales. I was told not to bother coming in tomorrow or the day after that in simply tense I was fired. To say it hurt was an understatement. I can feel the tears burning in my eyes but I wasnt going to let a single tear fall at least not now, I was going to suck it up and raise my head high. Suzy was angry with me so I didnt even bother waiting to tell her even the customers where shooting me sympathy looks and I couldnt take it any longer. So I followed the first thing my mind told me run, and I did I ran as fast as I could. Despite the fact that the rain was pouring heavily and I had left my umbrella in the shop I didnt care. Everybody I passed by shot me curious glances probably because I was running on the street looking like a mad woman but right now I didnt care. I finally let my tears out, why did this have to happen to me everything was going great in my life until I saw that stupid prince sitting on one of the chairs in the café,

None of this would have happened I shouted.

I finally stop in the middle of an ally, my legs killing me from al the running I have been doing, I fall onto the flour connecting my back with the wall and bringing my knees to my chest.

I would still have had my job and I might have just been able to save enough to get out of this city away from everything and everyone.

30 minutes later

After my mental break down in the middle of an alley I began to walk the familiar path that leads to my rundown apartment that I share with my parents and little brother. I pull my wet sweater closer to my body, as a sudden wind blows part me. My worn out converse snickers making squeaky noise as I walk. I push open the door with my feet and began climbing the steps to the eight floors where my flat is. I take a quick glance at the elevator which had stopped working due to the fire that had occurred here some few months back. I finally reach my floor I began walking towards my flat the floor board making sounds due to my weight. Finally I approach my door, the paint used to paint it had started to fade the numbers on the door was about falling off one more hit and I was sure it would fall off. I step inside the living room my mum and dad where sitting down on the double chairs wearing the finest cloth I ever seen them wear in my life opposite them sitting on the plastic chair was the man at the coffee shop the bald one wearing the cloth that looked like a suit but could not be called a suit

You I say pointing at him

Miss He stood up then bowed

My parents looked at me and eyed me up and down like they were not okay with my look, when the hell did my parents start paying attention to my look wait back up in which world did my parents start dressing fancy, if not for the house and their faces I wouldnt have recognized. If I saw them walking on the street with those clothes on me would have walked past them without thinking about sparing them a glance

Samantha what happened to you My mum stands up coming towards me. And at that moment I was positive I had entered another universe. My mum has not used my full name in a long time and it makes me feel hope ,but as soon as look in to her eyes see the hatred in her eyes and reality sets in. My parents can never care about me or love me they stopped caring and loving a long time ago.

Why the hell are you like this she whispers harshly in to my ears. That is the mother I know

Cant you hear me she whispers again her nails digging deep in to my shoulder. I place my hand over hers and yank her hand away from my shoulder
