~~~~~Anna's POV~~~~~
Me and Meghan were 10 minutes late. We arrived at the party to see it wasn't his house. It was a ballroom. There were stairs that looked like ones in a palace. We were told to walk down the stairs with our dates. The man saw I didn't have one so, I had to walk down alone. Meghan walked down with David because he met us there. Next was me. Everyone clapped and cheered for them. Maybe they won't recognize me. I started walking down and some one starts clapping.
???:Guys, look!
A spotlight hits me and I am blinded. I have to stay confident. I started again walking down the stairs. When I got to the bottom, everyone started clapping. Then a sudden stop. I looked around to see if anyone was there.
Meghan: I think someone wants you.
~~~~~Joeys POV~~~~~
I was 15 minutes late to Shane's party. I hear clapping from the outside of the door. I walk in to see a beautiful girl at the bottom of the stairs. I start walking down as a spotlight hits me. I stare right at her. She turns around and stares at me. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean. She was perfection.
Me: Hello.
???: Joey?
Me: Yes. I would to dance with you.
Everyone stared at us. Some were whispering. Shane walks over and takes her hand. There was this feeling inside of me that I couldn't explain.
~~~~~Meghan's POV~~~~~
Shane took Anna's hand and lead her to the dance floor. I look at Joey and his eyes were full of rage. Was he jealous of Shane? He doesn't love her. Next thing I know, Joey grabs my hand and leads to the dance floor. The DJ puts a slow song on. Shane and Anna started to dance so joey and me did. It was 2 minutes and Joey kept on staring at Anna. She looked at Joey with tears in her eyes. Shane whispered something in her ear. She runs off into the beautiful garden the place has. She was crying her eyes out. Joey watched her leave.
Me: Joey.......go!
He hugs me and runs after her.
~~~~~Anna's POV~~~~~
Shane pulls me to the dance floor. He tells me he wants to have a good time. A slow song comes on and we start laughing. We start dancing and I see Joey pull Meghan to the dance. I had a feeling inside of me. Was I jealous? I started tearing up. Shane notices.
Shane: It's fine. Just go.
He knows what I am thinking. I look over at Joey and Meghan. Joey was staring at me. I let go of Shane and run out to the garden. I started balling my eyes out. I ran till I could run no more. I fell on my knees and I heard someone run behind me. I hid in a bush so the person could not see me. I crawled back and was in an open area with flowers and a fountain.
