"Sometimes bad things... happen to good people. "

Jaimir looked around confused and a bit dumbfounded. He was lost for words and no one was telling him anything, like why his closest friends were holding guns to his and Alyzai's head or why Kase was nowhere to be found.

"I'm glad y'all could make it. Y'all a little late but... I'm really glad y'all could make it." Lamar announced, shaking his head. "Damn Alyzai. You could've been right here..."

Alyzai watched as Lamar pointed by his side before rolling her eyes. Though her was racing, she tried her hardest to appear calm opposed to Jaimir who visually felt betrayed. Her eyes danced across the room as she looked at Lincoln, Brie, and a couple of others she recognized on Lamar's side of it all. But why was Sajai and Linx turning on him?

Didn't they all just want Kase dead?

"Where is Kase?" Alyzai asked the first question to that popped to her mind.

"Oh, that's who you're looking for?" Lamar asked with an evil chuckle. "Bring that nigga out."

Suddenly, two men appeared beside Lamar with a large black bag against the banister. They threw the body over and Sajai leapt back to avoid from being hit with it. It hit the tiled floor with a loud plop sound. Linx walked up to it and pulled the bag back to reveal the stinking flesh of a chopped up head.

Alyzai suddenly had the urge to throw up as she looked at it.

"Untie her." Lamar ordered Sajai.

Sajai did as told, smiling at Jaimir all the while. "It's nothing personal, bro." She whispered.

Alyzai looked down at her wrists before punching Sajai straight in the face, knocking her back onto her ass. Nobody even flinched.

"I've just been holding that in for a long time." Alyzai said calmly before walking up the stairs to stand by Lamar's side.

Now, Jaimir looked even more confused.

"Allow me to explain." Lamar said.

"Alright, babygirl. You know what to do, right?" Lamar asked, looking down at Alyzai in the backseat of the car. "Linx should be here at any time, just make up some bitch ass story to make Jai feel bad for you. He's easy."

Alyzai nodded before Lamar leaned in and gave her a kiss. "Alright, I'll be in touch. I promise."

Alyzai nodded before laying down in the backseat and starting the fake tears. A few minutes later, she could hear the raspy engine of the van pulling up. She blinked hard to force tears.

"This is Zola, see... she's my girl and we set niggas up. You know?" Lamar spoke. "It started with your father."

Jaimir glared evilly.

"Yeah, we used to work with Coyote way back when we were teens but he was weak, a lot like you." Lamar explained. "We told Kase of word of where his family stayed and they... pow pow pow."

"They thought they got you too but..." Zola trailed off. "Obviously not."

"Years fly by, I meet Zola... she's this bad ass stripper with a mean ass pickpocket so me and her start kicking it." Lamar explained. "Then you just gotta start working for our next victim."

"It was nothing personal and I swear, we weren't aiming for you. You were just in the way." Zola explained. "Then I started really liking you and that made shit difficult for me and Lambo..."

"Sajai and Linx just wanted payback for all the shit they went through-"

"We." Zola corrected. "Linx is my brother."

"We just thought we would explained before yanno...?"

"I hope you understand." Zola said, holding onto Lamar's arm. "It was just time for me and Lamar to... get that old thang back."

Jaimir opened his mouth to speak. "Bi-"

Pow!
