The chef would arrive in twenty minutes to teach me how to cook. It was 8:00, Tuesday. Next week would be the week I started school, on the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Jamie and Leo had said described my hair as  " crazy awesome ". Come to think about it, I hadn't seen any people with hair as long as mine. I guess I was unique after all.

The chef arrived and first taught me how to cook easy, simple, and delicious breakfasts. I learned the art behind eggs, hash browns, French toast, sausage, and pancakes.

He left, only to return at lunch. At lunch, he taught me how to safely cook delicious lunch for many, and wonderful lunches for one.

He left once more, to return at dinner. For dinner, he taught me how to cook meats. This included A steak and a pork chop. He also taught me how to bake a cake.

After seeing him out, I looked at the clock.

It was only 7:30, so I decided to go and do my school shopping. I picked up my keys, wallet, and phone and locked up behind myself. I rode my bike to my local Balmart.

I had to retrieve a couple of things such as a backpack and a lunch bag (Things that I didn't already own at home). As I shopped, I thought about my day. What a strange morning that I had had! At least I made some friends. That was just so strange. Too strange. No, never mind, it's fine. I checked out at the store and rode my bicycle home.

That night I lay awake watching the ceiling above me.  I couldn't sleep for my mind was occupied by the happenings of my day. I gazed up but eventually, I found my eyelids too heavy to lift. I drifted off into sleep, exhausted after a long day.
