I woke up. My eyes flickered open, slowly adjusting to the surrounding light. I tried to sit up but it was no use. My body was too drained to do anything. As my eyes struggled to open, I could hear mummers in the distance. I sighed quietly, relieved for once recognizing the familiarity of it. Then mentally scolded myself. Relieved? He could be just as dangerous as the previous stranger, he just hadn't hurt me yet. I was able to fully open my eyes, but I waited. The voices were getting louder for me to understand what was being said.
"Fucking human. I leave it alone for one minute, one damn minute." My lips formed into a straight line. Maybe he needs to learn another word. Seems all he knows is that vulgar curse.
"What did you expect dude? she's fresh meat and you brought her into a wolves world. "
