SOPHIE POV"Yeah, something came up, sorry Pete." I spoke down the phone, the person on the other end being Peter Parker.
I was currently explaining how he could no longer come over to my house Friday evening to do the biology assignment.
"Don't worry about it, something weirdly came up for me too. What're you doing Friday anyway?" He asked.
I froze, trying to think of something better than 'helping Captain America fight Iron Man'.
"Uh-" I dragged out, flicking through excuses in my brain. "Family stuff. You?"
The line was quiet for a few seconds, before he came out with: "Aunt May has diarrhoea. Yeah, uh, she said I need to stay in for next the few days just in case I have it too. Don't wanna be spreading that around school."
My eyes widened, and I cringed at the sheer thought of what Peter just told me.
"Well that's.. cute." I spoke sarcastically, earning a laugh from the awkward boy. "Anyway, I have to go, I need to pack."
"Pack?" He asked.
Crap.
"Uh.. yeah. We're going family camping. You know, bonding and all that." I said with an awkward laugh.
"Right." He spoke with an unsure tone.
"Anyway, bye!" I chirped, quickly ending the phone call before he could even reply, not wanting to risk the fact that if I stayed talking to him, I would probably drop myself deeply in the shit.
Sighing, I stood from my bed, wondering to myself what do I actually need to pack? I mean, I've never been abroad, and I've definitely never been abroad to technically become a criminal.
Scanning around my room, I noticed my slumped school bag. Grabbing the backpack and tossing anything that was in their onto my desk, I noticed it was a decent size. I guess I'll take my school bag to Germany.
Collecting together a few essential like my laptop, charger, headphones and anything else I thought I needed to help the god that was Captain America, I shoved them into my backpack, along with some clothes and my wash bag.
I looked at my clock, noticing it was 11pm. After Steve had left, me and my dad watched TV and ate dinner, until I had a shower. After that I was on the phone to Peter, hoping he'd help me out with our Maths work. It was almost two hours ago I begun my phone call with Peter Parker, and it had only took us half an hour to do the Math.
