Electra's Secret -writers block-

One

One

 It was dark and snowy in Vorde, everyone was in their cottages, and they were sipping their hot tea, watching the snow fall down on the clean streets. 

Everyone was at their house warming beside the fireplace but one, Electra is what she was called, she was outside on a very cold night, doing a mission of her own, she was known in the city for being the most bravest woman, for she was the one who slayed the dragon 5 years ago, it was a hundred times bigger than her but she tore it to bits.

 No one ever knew how, since that day Electra lived in her big house alone, isolated from everyone, she shut everyone who tried to contact her, even her own family.

She would stay at home all day, but at night, when everybody was sound asleep, she would finally get out of her large house and she goes to the woods, no one knew why or what she did, some say that she meets someone there, some say that she is a vampire or a witch, but no one really knows what she does.

 The next day, the snow was stuck to the ground; the little children were packed on the streets playing with it, while their mothers looked at them from their windows.

 There was a young man walking down the streets, he wasn't from this town, little girls kept staring at him, he was handsome, he was slightly skinny, with his dark brown soft hair that was covered with bits of snow, and a pair of dark green eyes, that you stare at forever, his face was defined, he had a few flaws, but don’t we all?

 His name was Theodore; he was seventeen years old, he came to this town often, to meet his uncle Arlo, he was known for his bravery, too. He had once caught a large deer with one shot of his bow at only the age of seventeen, but he had another business today than hunting.

He walked by his uncle Arlo's market, and greeted him like always "So Theo, are you out on a hunt in the winter?" He asked

 "No, in fact I'm here to visit someone out of curiosity"

 "Who might that be?" he asked with a smile, he thought that Theodore might have found a girlfriend

 "I'm very curious about this Electra everyone keeps talking about, I'd like to see her what so known 'bravery' with my own eyes" he said with emphasis on the word Electra, Theodore hated when people were called brave, he thought he was the only one who should be called by that.  

 Uncle Arlo flinched and his eyes widened "Are you mad? That woman is crazy, she will kill you on the spot if you try to get in to her business, I heard she once did that to somebody"

He gave him a smug smile and said "I'd like to try my chances, and by the way I've fought animals way dangerous than a silly little girl"

"I'm praying for you, kid" Uncle Arlo went back to his work and Theodore continued on with his way to the big house that was Electra's.

 Before he came near the house he had a plan, he would disguise as a poor man and he would beg Electra for food, that way he could see what Electra was hiding in her house and he would know why does she shut people out.

 He tore his coat to pieces to it will look worn out and poor, then he put some dirt on his face, and he smudged some mud into his hair to look poorer. Theodore was good at acting; he could make anyone believe anything he wanted.

He put on his innocent face and his poor attitude and knocked the door of the big black house.

 He waited for 3 minutes until he heard footsteps behind the door, then a quarter of the door opened, to only show half of the woman in front of him, he could only see her eye, it was colored in a very beautiful color, somewhere between green and blue turquoise he thought

 "What can you possibly want at this ungodly hour?" Said her cold voice

"Um, I'm sorry to bother you, but it's so cold outside as you can see, and I have no place else to go, could you please, let me in, I'm freezing" he said in a very low and sad tone Theodore looked back at her eyes, they held coldness

 "Do I look that friendly to you? Go try the people at the village, they will be happy to welcome you with open arms" she said, obviously mad

 "Please, the village is so far away, at least a cup of tea that is all I'm asking for" said Theodore; he even shed a tear to make it look more real, he was one hell of an actor

"Ugh do you have to cry? God, humans and their stupid drama, Come inside" she said,  annoyed

She slowly opened the door to let him in, he looked at her, she was wearing a black dress that was dusty and dirty and her face was scarred, but behind these scars laid a beautiful face, he looked away as she put a stool beside the door for him to sit in

 "If you move one inch while I make your stupid tea, I will kill you." she said with a terrifying glare

Theodore sat at the stool and looked around of what he could see of the house, dusted books were scattered everywhere, the floor was so dirty, it looked like the house hasn't been cleaned in decades, he tried to move and see more of the house but he heard footsteps so he sat still.

Electra came back with a small tray; on it was a piece of bread which looked rotten and smelly and a dirty cup of tea, she shoved the tray at Theodore's lap. Theodore held the cup and sipped a bit of what he thought was tea, but much to his surprise it was a weird substance with an odd taste, and it was cold. Then he tried to chew a bit of the bread which tasted like garbage, doesn’t she have real food for god's sake he thought

 "Finish your food and get out of here"

Theodore was surprised that she called it food, because it wasn't even related to that, but he needed more time with her so he could figure her out, figure out how she slayed the dragon, his curiosity was killing him, so he chewed on his rotten food slowly and spoke

 "I'm just curious, how'd you do it? Slay the dragon, I mean" Theodore asked while forcefully chewing some of the bad bread

 "Who told you that you could speak? Another word and I'll throw you in the snow" she said while looking around her house nervously, like she is wishing she hid something

"I can never believe a girl like you would be able to kill a full dragon" he said

"That’s it, I'm tossing you out, god I'm so stupid I even let you in here"

She got up and she held Theodore by his ears and his hair, as she was pulling it so hard his ears almost bled then she opened the door and threw him out like a garbage bag.

"You are so pathetic" and she closed the big door behind her

So what did you think about the story?

It is going to be some sort of a short story, but some chapters will be long and others will be a little short, depending on what I have on mind. ^_^
