Being in the house was boringgg. Nyla was just staring at me, so I started to make silly faces at her. Her cute giggle filled the air, making me laugh.

"Hello?" I said answering my phone
"Carmen! Trey got shot!"
"What!,.." I said sitting up on the couch
"What hospital?"
"Lake view" after he said that I hung up
Tears were forming in my eyes, and I was shaking uncontrollably.
I couldn't drive at all and I was scared
I picked up my phone and called Dre
"Wassup BabyGirl"
"Dre, trey got shot ! I'm scared" I said panicking with tears
"Calm down baby, get Nyla and go to garage, just take my keys to my accord and go to the hospital"
"Dre I can't drive ! "
" yes you can, you just don't have a license. I trust you with my daughter."
"You do?"
"Yeah now what hospital he at?"
"Lake view"
"Okay I'll meet you there. I love you "
"I love you too." I said hanging up
I got Nyla's diaper bag and her car seat
"You ready baby" I said to her while putting her in her car seat.
I got in the driver seat, and adjusted everything so I was comfortable.
I said to myself,
' okay Carmen you can do this, do not fuck shit up. you have to stop crying get this together. '
I started the car and was on my way to the hospital.

I saw Aubrey with is head in his hands
"Aubrey!" I shouted so that he would look up .
I wasn't worried anymore, I know my brother is strong he can pull this over.
We could never tell mom or dad, so we had to keep this on the low .
I'm never going to ask Aubrey what happen, I'm just not.
I rocked Nyla in my hands while feeding her a bottle.
"What did the doctor say?" I ask while sitting in the chair beside him.
"They haven't said anything ."
Next thing you now...
" The family of Trey Lopez" as soon as he said me and Aubrey stood up, and Dre walked in.
