"Good morning, auntie!" I brightly greeted Baekhyun's mom the moment I reached their house with my bicycle. "Is Baekhyun still there?" I motioned their house while smiling in iridescence on her.Auntie nodded on me albeit that she seemed confused as to why I'm here, in front of her house. "Why are you here? Were you guys friends already?" Chuckling, I nodded.
Mom and auntie were both aware of the unseen tension between Baekhyun and I that's why they're both persistent on having a meeting with each one together with their sons. Sad to say, Baekhyun and I only met once and it wasn't a good meeting at all. I knew mom told auntie that we don't seemed like persons who will get along because of the daggers Baekhyun's shooting on me that day.
"Can I come inside?" When auntie nodded, I didn't waited for her to open the gate for me and entered it, parking my bicycle on their garage beside her car. "Do you want some help?"
Auntie shook her head and turned off the faucet that's been connected to the hose she's holding. "I'm done already. Besides, you're wearing your uniform. You might get some dirts by helping me if ever," and when she smiled, that's when I realized she looked like Baekhyun a lot. Her mouth forms a square shape whenever she smiles, something unique to Baekhyun. "Did you ate breakfast already? I prepared some foods inside. It's still early. Besides, Baekhyun was still on his room, furnishing his looks."
I nodded and we went inside. I tried offering a helping hand once again but auntie refused to accept it. So, with no choice left behind, I tailed her and sat on one of the stools in their kitchen. "Auntie, I like it here. I hope you'll tell mom to repaint our house. This kind of paint color is what I like for our house."
Giggling, auntie positioned the freshly cooked bacons and eggs on the long dining table. "Okay, I'll tell her about that," she stopped in the middle and fixed her eyes on mine. "Your mom is really the complete opposite of you, Chanyeol. My guess was really right that you inherited more from your father than her."
Nodding, I found myself laughing freely. Truth is, mom doesn't want to consider the fact that I got most of my features and attitude from dad. "Right. Anyways, thank you in advance."
Without paying no mind with what I said, auntie finishes preparing the breakfast so she settled in the chair positioned at the end of the long dining table. "Back to my question, why are you here, Chanyeol? Not that I don't like you here, you're like another son to me but it's still odd to see you here. The last time I checked, you did good deeds to my son. Was that enough reason for you guys to consider each other as a friend?" She wiggled her brows. Aysh. Mom and auntie were both a tease.
"I think so," when we heard a door creaked open, our eyes both landed to where it was heard. "Hey. . ."
It was written all over Baekhyun's face that he was surprised to see me, too. "C-Chanyeol?"
I nodded. "Good morning, Baek," and I earned a stifled chuckle from auntie.
"A nickname, huh," she silently said but I still heard it.
"Morning, giant," Baekhyun made his way on us and just like how auntie reacted when I called her son Baek, she chuckled also. "Mom! What was that?"
"Nothing," the playfulness on auntie's face didn't left her until we finished eating our breakfast.

"I think you can drop me here already," Baekhyun said out of the blue when we're nearing the school's gate. It was hard making him ride my bicycle with me, good thing auntie was able to scare her son so he was left with no choice but to occupy the empty space behind mine's on my bicycle. "Stop, Chanyeol."
