When I woke up, I felt warmth covering my back. Once my eyes had adjusted, I realised I was in a hotel room, and Ben was behind me.

What happened last night? I started stressing out, really hoping I hadn't slept with him. When I looked down, all my clothes were on, as were his. I shifted myself, "Ben."

Ben moved groaning. I was lucky enough not to be hungover, which was a surprise since I didn't remember anything that happened. Ben was not so lucky, however.

"Ben what happened last night?" I asked, he was adjusting after I'd woken him up. "I don't remember," he rubbed his eyes. He checked if he was wearing clothes too.

"Did we-" he began, but I cut him off. "I don't think so," I said. Ben started asking me if I had superpowers, considering I wasn't hungover. Luckily, I had paracetamol in my bag, for period cramps.

While Bens headache clearly took over everything, I poured him a glass of water and gave him the paracetamol. "I'm calling James," I said.

After one phone call he picked up. "Why do I hear a groaning man, Evie?" He asked suspiciously, I laughed at how that was the first thing he'd say.

"It's just Ben. Can you come pick us up?" I asked, then told him the hotel we were at. Because I didn't remember last night, I only knew the hotel name because there was a pen on the bedside table.

"I told you not to fuck him, Evie. Wait, if you fucked him, whys he still there?" He asked.

"I don't think we did, James. I woke up fully clothed, and with him fully clothed," I hung up. Ben kissed at my shoulder.

"Would it be a pleasant surprise if you woke up and and I wasn't fully clothed?" He joked. "It'd be a surprise, that's for sure," I joked back.

I got up and went to the bathroom. There were toothbrushes and toothpaste already provided. "Hey Ben, how cool is this? There's toothbrushes!" I began laughing, at the lovely surprise in the bathroom.

Ben walked up behind me, and grabbed a toothbrush. I could tell the paracetamol was kicking in already. We both brushed our teeth. I spat in the sink.

"So you do spit after all," Ben joked, bringing back a memory from last night. I knew exactly what he was talking about, it was when I took my first shot. I desperately wanted to know more about last night now.

"Ben, how can you drink all the time? I'd hate losing memories," I looked at him seriously.

"Sometimes you don't lose memories," he stood closer to me. The doorbell went, it must be James. "We didn't sleep together last night," he whispered, then left to answer the door.

I felt reassured after that. I just hope Ben is telling the truth. James soon came into the bathroom. "You nutter! Why are you going out and getting pissed without me," he laughed. I hugged him when I saw him, James made me feel safe.

James drove Ben and I home. When I got back to my place, my memories started coming back. Ben was in fact telling the truth, we didn't sleep together.

We went out clubbing and got a hotel because Ben was too intoxicated to drive. I felt happy, knowing Ben didn't just take advantage of me because I was drunk.

Drinking seems like a lot of fun, actually. I think I should go out with James sometime and go have a drink, it'd be a laugh. But last night with Ben was definitely fun.

The fact he didn't take advantage of me just made me want him more and trust him. I was drawn to him.
