I woke up to people screaming at each other. 

"We are losing her."

"Hi...where am I?" They looked at me stunned and then at the monitor. 

"Holy...you were almost dead. How are you able to speak?" 

"I almost die a lot. I guess my body is used to it. Why am I here?" The nurse sighed. 

"Honey, do you remember last time you were here?" I nodded. "You uterus was in very bad condition and was the only thing we couldn't fix. And I'm guessing through sex it ruptured and is now causing bad things to happen in your body. That's why you were throwing up so much. Through the rupture, it had a domino effect and caused your stomach to start over producing acid and then eating away at the walls which then caused you to throw up. We are fixing that now. We have fixed the acid problem. Now we are gonna need you to stay calm and stay still. We have numbed you as much as we can. Hold my hand and squeeze if it hurts." I laid back and took deep breaths. I felt pressure down there and heard several medical sounds that made me really uneasy. Finally, the pressure went away and I let go of the nurse's hand. 

"Am I gonna be okay?" 

"You are a walking miracle. You are gonna be okay. We are gonna take you to your room now. Would you like to have visitors or no?" I rapidly shook my head. 

"Please don't let anyone in that isn't you or a doctor. Please, I am begging you." 

"Honey, are you okay?

"Just please whatever you do do not let a man named Shae in my room." 

"Okay just calm down. I'll station guards by your door. I will keep you safe. And maybe you can tell me why you are so scared of this boy." They lifted me onto my bed. She handed me the tv remote and put some water next to me. She waved bye and I waved back. I thought for a moment. I can think whatever I want in here. I waved my arms in happiness. I turned on the tv and found a cartoon. I fell asleep watching it. 

"Hey, Max how are you feeling this morning?" I slowly opened my eyes to see the nurse from last night. 

"I'm okay. I think." My voice was shaky. 

"Can I ask you some questions?" I nodded slowly. 

"Why do you have the markings on your stomach?" She said as she moved the gown to see them. I tensed up. 

"The man...the man he did it. It was to save me but now...it scares me." 

"It's okay honey. Why do you have a collar on your neck as well as a leash?" I heard that and I began to claw frantically at trying to get it off. 

"Get it off get it off get it off. Please..." I was crying as I kept trying to get it off. 

"Honey please calm down. I will see if I can call someone to get it off. Are you in danger?" I froze up and looked around the room trying to see if I was being set up. 

"I can't tell you. I can't tell anyone." She looked at me worried. 

"I'm gonna go get someone else and something for you to eat. Okay?" I nodded. I watched her leave and right before the door closed I saw guards. 

She came back with some soup and a man. She helped me eat the soup. 

"Hi, Max. My name is Felix. Can you tell me what happened the day you were admitted?" I didn't know if I could trust him. I looked at the nurse and she nodded. 

"I was at his house...and then we went and got my hair colored. Then we went to the mall to get me new clothes and then I got really sick and threw up a lot in the bathroom. Then we went home and I threw up more." He wrote something on his notepad. 

"Last night I talked to the man who brought you in. I have compared your answers with his and I need you to tell me something, okay? I need the truth." I looked at him scared. 

"Okay...I can't promise you an answer but yeah." 

"Is this man hurting you?" They both looked at me. What happened if I tell them and they tell him. 

"I...I can't answer that." 

"Please, Max this is important." 

"...yes but he doesn't mean it. He isn't like us. He was programmed to hurt us. I made him mad and now he is mad at me. Please don't tell him I told you. He will get madder and I don't want you to get hurt." 

"Where has he hurt you?" I showed him my stomach and he gasped. 

"He can shock me if I don't obey him. It hurts so bad...I can still feel it sometimes. But he was nice I swear...I just made him mad." 

"Do you have somewhere else you can go away from him?"

"NO NO NO. He will always find me. We are linked he can read my thoughts and change my feelings. He will always know where I am." 

"We will keep you safe. So you are basically saying you have to go back with him?" I nodded tears threatening to spill. 

"We are gonna find a way to get that collar off. It's gonna be okay. Now eat your soup and hit the button right here to call someone. I'll check up on you in an hour." They both left and I turned the tv back on and watched some reality tv. I ate the rest of my soup. It felt so good to eat something again. 

Shae's POV

I was waiting for the call that I hadn't slept all night. 

*BRING BRING* I answered it right away. 

"Hello is this Shae?"

"Yes, it is. Are you the doctor I talked to last night?"

"Max is doing better. We are going to keep her for a couple days to check on a couple other things." 

"Can I come see her? It's very important."

"No, not at this moment. Not until she allows visitors. We will keep you updated." And he hung up. Something wasn't right and I could feel it. I swear to god if she told them anything she is gonna end up in the hospital in worse condition than anyone has ever seen. I left and teleported to another town random in the states. I needed something to keep me company. Or someone.
