New School 2.0

2 weeks later

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, I look at the clock and it read 7:00, I got off the bed and went into the bathroom. Today is my first day at Beverly High School and i'm not sure if I should be nervous or excited to start a new school, sometimes last week my aunt took me shopping and got me a lot of new clothes and shoes from tons of different stores like Forever 21 and Wet Seal but I liked Forever 21 better and decided to get most of my clothes from there, I remember telling my aunt that I did not need all of these stuff and that I was grateful enough that she took me in to live with her "nonsense" she said "I want you to have all of these things and more, you are like a daughter to me and I want to take care of you." I hugged her and said thank you. After I got out of the shower I dried my hair an went into my closet, I took out some matching bra and panties and put them on, after putting my towel back where it belonged, I looked at my tattoos I had stars behind my ears and ending at my shoulder, also had another one on my wrist, one was an infinity sign with my parents name in it, and the other one was on my rib cage, it was writing Greek "πιστεύεις στον εαυτό σου" meaning Believe in Yourself, I got them a little after my parents death it was a way for me to remember them. I decided to find something to wear since today is my first day at the new school I decided to look nice, I chose a white refine mesh trimmed peplum top and paired it with some leggings and boots, I went on to fix my jet black hair, I decided to leave my bangs and put the rest of my hair in a high bun, I put a strawberry flavor lip- gloss, some mascara and high liner (I don't like to wear a lot of make up) it brought out my emerald green eyes, I grabbed my leather jacket, my phone, and keys and dropped them in my bag, I took one look at myself in the mirror and closed my bedroom door as I left, and went downstairs to the kitchen to find my aunt already there "Good morning sweetie, how did you sleep?" she asked while I kissed her cheek "I slept well" I said and grabbed and apple from the table "I have to leave soon" I said "school is going to start in forty minutes"
"That's fine, have fun and don't forget that I will be home late but you can Order some food if you want" my aunt responded "Ok" I said and wished my aunt to have nice day and left the house to go to the garage I got Into my blue 2009 Chevrolet Convertible and dropped my purse on the passenger seat, I started the car and put on my sun glasses, I turned on the radio while getting out of the driveway and Justin Bieber's Confident started playing, I tapped my fingers against the wheels and sung the lyrics of the songs I may not be a Belieber but I have to admit its a pretty good song. It took me twenty minutes to get to my new school I can see people turn their heads when they saw my car coming I know they were wondering who I was because they've never seen me before, I found a parking spot and turned of the engine of my car I took one last look at myself in the mirror and got out of the car grabbing my stuff with me and taking off my glasses, I turned to look at my new school, it was like your average new school with the jocks and cheerleaders together, then we have the geeks and nerds In a corner huddle together, I saw some theatre kids rehearsing a song and the goth kids were in the far corner next to a tree. I walked to the entrance of the school trying to ignore the stares of the students burning holes in my back, I heard some wolf whistle and heard some girls called me "ugly" and a "slut" how can these people judge me so easily when they don't even know me? I asked myself and walked into the school trying to find the main office, when I found it I went in to find a blond lady standing on the front desk, she looks like she was in her forties and looked like a nice person.
"Hi" I said as I went up to her, she looked up and smiled at me "Hello" she responded "how may I help you today"
"My name is Scarlett Simpson, and I'm new here" I said "Oh! that's right Ms. Simpson I have your schedule right here, now the schedule Is a little bit different you have seven classes in total but you only have five a day since today is day A, you will start with period 1-5 and the next day you will continue with period six and so on, and for lunch it starts on your fourth period whichever class you have on your fourth period determines if you're going to have 1st or 2nd lunch, got it" (that's how the schedule is at my school) she said, I nodded and said thank you. This is my schedule:
Period 1--- Modern History
Period 2--- Study/free period
Period 3--- English
Period 4--- Geometry

Period 5--- Gym
Period 6--- Spanish
Period 7--- Art
On my way out of the office I bump into what i thought was a wall "watch where you're going short stuff" said an angry voice, I don't remember a talking wall, I looked up and saw the hottest guy I have ever seen, he had chocolate brown hair, brown eyes, he was well built and looked like he just stepped out of a magazine, I think he is about 6"2, I was lost in my thoughts and saw him mouthing something "what?" I asked he looked at me irritated "I said aren't you going to apologize for running into me" I looked at him in disbelief are you serious he bumped into me "listen, mate" said "you're the one who bumped into me so you should apologize not the other way around and I am not that short okay, I'm 5"5 I'll have you know" I spat at him now it was his turn look at me in disbelief "excuse me" he said
"You're excused" I responded.
"Do you know who I am little one" he said
"Should I?" I asked and smirked this is fun
"My name is Jake Bell and I own this school" he responded
"Good to know" I said "but now I need to leave and find my locker if you'll excused me" I grabbed my bag and left, with a new found confidence I turned around to find him standing there staring at me with his eyes wide with shock probably because no one had stood up to him before. When I found my locker I put the things that I will not need for the day and closed it, I looked at my watch it was 8:15 shit I was late for first period, I walked down the hallway trying to find my class, when I finally found it was already 8:30 damn I really hope my teacher is not mean. I knocked on the door but no one answered so I decided to just open it, when I did all heads turned my way and looked at me with curiosity "Who must you be" said the teacher and I thank God that it was a female, she looked like she was in her early forties with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes
"I'm the new student" I said and I can see some students nod their heads
"And what is your reason for being late?" she asked
"I'm sorry" I said " I got lost trying to find your class"
"Since it's your first day I'll let you off the hook, do you understand" she said and I nodded
"Well my name is Mrs. Florence, why don't you tell the class who you are and something about you and then you can find some place to sit" again I nodded. I turned to face the full class and scanned the people who were there and you wouldn't believe who was there that's right you guessed it arsehole was there I mean Jake Bell I didn't pay any attention to him and went on to introduce myself to the class "my name is Scarlett Simpson and I just moved here from Australia, and that's about it" I said I wasn't going to tell them my life story
"Well it's nice to meet you Ms. Simpson, now please take a seat"Mrs. Florence, I followed her orders and found a seat in the back next to a petite girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. My classes went by fast and I found myself standing in the lunch line I took a slice of pizza, a juice and an apple, I turned around to find a place to seat until I saw a petite blonde waving at me to come sit at her table, she was the girl in my history class, her name is Amanda and we instantly clicked when she commented on my shirt and turns out she is in a lot of my classes too, I went and sat down next to her, she turned to me "Scarlett" she said "This is Anna" she pointed to a blonde girl with a pixie cut and green eyes "next to her is Hailey" she pointed to an Hispanic girl with long brown hair and brown eyes, I can tell that we're going to be great friends, they have the same style as me and their nice they don't seem like  the other stuck up cheerleaders I've seen walking around . "So, chica" said Hailey "Do you play any sports?" she asked
"I dance and do gymnastic" I responded.
"That's awesome" they all said "maybe you can join our gymnastic or dance team" Amanda said
"Maybe" I said, I went back to eating my food when Anna suddenly asked me where I got my tan from "I'm naturally tan" I said "why are you asking?"
"Don't mind her" Hailey said "she's been trying to her get tan like all of us but it only makes her look like a tomato" the rest of lunch went by really quick the girls and I kept making jokes and asked each other the random questions. Before I knew it was the end of the day and we were all leaving to go home I said bye to the girls and went to my car and headed home.
When I got home I hoped into the shower after I was done I changed into running short and a sports bra I decided that I would go for a run to relax myself, I put my running shoes grabbed my headphones and plugged it into my phone and out my hair in ponytail. I always felt more relaxed when I run.
