One day, after a busy day at work, Sharna walked down the aisle of a crowded grocery store, looking at the various cereal boxes that littered the shelves. While she was searching for the correct cereal, she wasn't paying attention to what was in front of her, and her cart suddenly bumped into another. When she glanced up to apologize, she was met with the crystal blue eyes of a handsome stranger, who had combed-back brown hair, scruff covering his chiseled jaw, and a smile that could make any girl's heart melt.

"Sorry." They both say in unison.

"My fault." She continued, as he stated, "That was my bad."

Both adults tried to move their carts, only for them to hit each other's again.

They both laughed awkwardly, before Sharna introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Sharna."

"Artem." He said as Sharna holds out her hand for him to shake. "It's nice to meet you."

Sharna replied. "Likewise. Sorry again for bumping into your cart. I wasn't paying attention."

"No, it was completely my fault." He insisted.

Sharna was about to protest, however, a little girl with wavy, brown hair ran up to Artem with a box of cookies in hand.

"Daddy, look what I have!" She exclaimed excitedly. "Can we get some?"

Artem chuckled and smiled down at his young child. "Sure, honey. Sharna, this is my daughter, Harper."

Sharna bent down to the girl's height. "Hi, sweetheart."

Harper hid behind Artem's leg.

"Sorry, she is a little shy." Artem apologized.

"Aw, that's so cute." Sharna gushed. "Well, I have to get going, but I hope I see you around some time."

"I hope so too." He smiled at her.

"Bye, cutie." Sharna said to Harper, before walking away.

Artem's gaze followed her as she walked down the grocery aisle, as he thought about the mysterious, red-headed beauty.

His thoughts were interrupted by his daughter, "Daddy? Can we get some ice cream on the way home?"

"Sure, sweetheart. " Artem finally dropped his gaze to focus on his daughter.

When Sharna arrived home, her four-year old son, Jace, came racing towards the door attacking her with a hug.

"Why hello, my little jitterbug." She greeted her son.

He smiled up at her. "Hi, Mommy."

"How was your day?" Sharna asked.

"Great." His smile started to grow. "Me and Uncle Maks played hide-and-go-seek, and then he took me to Chuck-E-Cheese, and then we got ice cream."

"Oh wow! So you had a great day, didn't you?"

"Uh-huh."

"Did you thank Uncle Maks?" Sharna looked down expectantly at her son.

"Yup!" He replied happily.

Their conversation was interrupted by the abrupt noise of her daughter's cry.
