Loving in Colour (Min Yoongi x Reader)

~ Nine: Dance Practice ~

Y/N's POV,

The actions that Yoongi has made towards me left me confused. Sometimes I feel like maybe I have figured him out, but then he does something unexpected like that and I begin to feel like there is more to him than just his constant mood swings. I messaged Hyuna thanking her about helping him, because I actually really liked the clothes that we picked. 

Today the boys invited me and Y/B/F to watch them practice for their new dance, so I thought it would be a good idea to wear the clothes that I have got the other day. Once I changed, I decided to just brush my hair and put on a little bit of mascara, I didn't really have anyone to impress. 

Soon Y/B/F leaves me a message telling me that she is outside, I didn't mind walking over to the entertainment building, but she insisted that her driver takes us. 

"Y/N!" She says as I enter the car, giving her a smile. "If you told me two weeks ago that we were going to watch BTS practice and choreograph their new dance I'd tell you to stop dreaming!" Clearly, she is a lot more excited than I am. 

"Calm down," I giggle while she goes on and on about how excited she is. My mind was elsewhere though, would it be awkward with Yoongi? Ever since he got me the clothes back we haven't really spoken. 

When we get to the building we instantly get pulled into their dance room. Namjoon was bickering with Jin over who was more handsome, Hyuna was on her phone, Jimin and Jungkook were setting up the stereo, Hoseok was watching Jin and Namjoon argue while Taehyung and Yoongi were judging everyone in the room. 

"Y/N!" Jimin catches everyone's attention as they all look at Y/B/F and I. 

"I'm here too Jimin!" Y/B/F says, making Jimin bow apologetically. 

"Good, we can start now." Jungkook adds, making everyone get up and into a group. Y/B/F and I make our way to sit with Hyuna, who smiles  as she sees us approach. 

"They've already been arguing over how the choreography should go," she tells us, though the tension in the room was obvious. "Let's hope they manage to pull something together before they start fighting." 

"They fight over the choreography?" Y/B/F seems shocked.

"Yup, if there's strong mixed opinions it happens a lot. Jimin and Yoongi seem to clash the most, though Hobi often managed to persuade them to accept something." She explains, I had no idea that the boys clashed. I guess no group is perfect, though they always seem to be able to settle for a certain way. The music started and they got into positions, moving in time to the beat. It seemed to be going well until Jimin stumbled a bit and nudged into Yoongi. 

"Watch it!" Yoongi rolled his eyes, going to the stereo to restart the song. Y/B/F ends up being on her phone as the boys try to perfect their dance, leaving me to watch them.

"I told you it's better to start with the right leg not the left!" Jimin says louder than the rest of the group that are discussing it. 

"No, the left leg is better at the front." Yoongi states, not letting Jimin have his way. "Besides, it's my part, and I prefer using the left so." 

"But we all have to dance it!" Jimin pouts. 

"Let's just stick with the left for now." Namjoon wipes his forehead and sighs. A few hours pass by and the boys have only managed to get about half way through their song, and decided on a break. Jimin and Jin left the room to go get some water while everyone else sat down on the floor. 

"We are getting nowhere!" Hoseok sighed, I could see that they were all tired from going over and over the same parts and not being able to figure anything out. 

"Don't worry hyung, we will keep trying." Taehyung says quietly, I think it's the first time I have heard him say something and sound sincere about it. 

"If Jimin stops interrupting we will get it done." Yoongi adds. 

"Yoongi, we have to consider everyone's input into this dance, just like any dance." Namjoon reminds him. 

"Mhm..." Yoongi pays little attention to what Namjoon is telling him. 

"I'm so thirsty!" Jungkook whines. "What's taking them so long?" 

"I'll go help them." I say quietly and make my way out of the room, feeling Yoongi's eyes burn into the back of my head. He hasn't said a single word to me, but I have not expected anything else. Plus, they have a lot on right now, I don't need to be selfish and demand his attention. Not that I want it... I was just about to enter the kitchen when Jimin's voice stops me. 

"But hyung! I really like her!" His voice rings in my ears. A part of me wants to politely interrupt them and get the water for the members that are thirsty, but at the same time I can't help myself but eavesdrop. 

"She is off limits Jimin! It wouldn't work, she's not destined to be with you!" Jin sounds apologetic, which makes me wonder more to who they are talking about. 

"You never know! I can still treat her better than him!" Everything is so confusing, who are they talking about? Do I know her? And why is she off limits? 

"I know, but you can't go against what is destined, you will find someone Jimin, I promise you." Jin's voice sounded so soothing, it's no wonder all of the members feel like they can confide in him. 

"What are you doing?" Yoongi's voice makes me jump, scaring me as I was not expecting him to be here. "Didn't you know it's rude to listen in on other's conversations?" He lifts an eyebrow and shakes his head. 

"I felt rude interrupting..." I say quietly, feeling intimidated by the fact that he has caught me. 

"It's more rude to not interrupt and listen in. Wonder what they would think if I told them." He smirks and walks past me, opening the door. Jimin looks guilty and avoids eye contact with Yoongi, though when they meet mine he instantly looks down on the floor. 

"What's taking you so long?" Yoongi rolls his eyes, it's a surprise they haven't rolled out of his skull yet considering how many times he has done it in one day. 

"I... we came to help with the water..." I quickly correct myself, making Yoongi shake his head slightly and grab some bottles of water. I do the same, with Jin and Jimin following behind. 

"Finally!" Jungkook smiles and thanks me as he takes a water bottle from the ones I have carried to their practice room. I give one to Hoseok and one to Namjoon, giving away all the water bottles I brought with me. 

"Right, five more minutes then we need to finish this dance." Namjoon states, getting a tired nod from all the members. Jimin comes and sits next to me. 

"It's weird, we usually only have Hyuna as audience when we practice." He gives me a smile, instantly making me smile too. 

"Sorry, are we an inconvenience?" I joke, nudging Jimin slightly. 

"No! Not at all! I, I mean we enjoy you and Y/B/F being here." He quickly adds. 

"Jimin!" Yoongi stares him up and down before nodding to say it's time to dance again. I send Jimin a smile and hold my thumbs up. It's going to be a long afternoon.
