Chapter 5: I guess the spark is gone

Shawn and I were fighting constantly on tour and at home in Toronto. We decided it would be best if we broke up, we still loved each other but we couldn't go on like that, it wasn't healthy for any relationship.

A few months passed by. I met this new guy named Tom Holland and I loved him so much, he is from England and I know him from the new Spider-man homecoming movie. We loved each other we did many things together. (Our text conversation)
Tom: Hey! You wanna go on a date tonight?
Me: sure! Why not! Where at?
Tom: Edamame Burger!
Me: Sounds good Hon!
After I sent that last text I remember that is what Shawn always said "hon" it made me kinda sad and miss him but I'm with Tom now so I can't look back at the pass and look at the future.

I was in my bathroom getting ready for this date and Tom comes and picks me up. We don't live with each other which is for the best because of what happened between Shawn and I. So Tom comes to the door and says "Hey Hon, you ready to go" immediately I was like oh no not again but I told Tom "Yea, let's get in the car" so we get in the car and we just talk for awhile and then we get to the restaurant, we walk in and find Shawn and this girl sitting there. Shawn and I locked eyes, like in a flirty way but not. Tom says "you gonna be ok, we can go somewhere else" he knows about Shawn and I dating because he's famous, and I'm somewhat. I say "no, I will be just ok, it's just him i'm worried about, I broke up with him but also I'm worried about you, are you ok with this" "I'm fine if your fine" Tom says with a big smile hugging me. I see Shawn look over at us hugging because Shawn knows we're dating as well because Tom is famous.
We get to our seat and the waitress gets our drinks. I ordered just lemon water and so does Tom. I glance over at Shawn because we haven't seen each other for 8 months so it's kinda weird. Tom and I get to order and I order a Bacon Burger and he orders a plain ole cheese burger. Who goes to a fancy and expensive restaurant and orders a plain Cheeseburger.
We finally get our bill and Shawn is still there with some girl. Shawn and I locked eyes one last time. Tom and I get back into the car. Tom drops me off at my door. We talk for a moment and then I go inside. I look at my phone and I have a text from Shawn.

Shawn: Hey! You looked really nice tonight. I wanted to say I'm sorry how we ended things but I want you back, seeing you with another guy made me really jealous.

I really don't know what to say to him but I can't leave him stranded with "read"

Me: Hey Shawn! I miss you too and seeing you with another girl was awkward, I love you more than anything, I just don't want things to turn out like they did again!
Shawn: They won't turn out like that this time because I took 6 months off of touring after I finished my last tour.
Me: ok, I need some time. I can't just breakup with Tom because I'm in love with me ex boyfriend.
Shawn: That's all I'm asking. Also that girl I was with tonight, we're not dating.
Me: Ok thanks Shawn for the info! I will get back to you soon.
Shawn: ok. I love you and miss you!

I really didn't know what to say after that. I just said it back even if I didn't mean it yet

Me: Miss you and Love ya too!
