When Taylor had first met the Doctor, she was walking through a forest by her school when out of nowhere, a blue box appeared in front of her, groaning and clearly smoking from the inside. When Taylor had approached the box the doors had burst open to a tall, young boy lumbering out, seeming to be unsure of how to use his feet.

He looked at Taylor and simply smiled and said "Hello, I'm the Doctor, mind showing me where I can get a change of pants? I think I've torn these beyond recognition."

Indeed he had torn them. Taylor led the strange boy back to her school where he got him some clothes from the drama room. The rest was a blur. Ships from outer space had landed in her schools fields and were demanding the doctor. Together, she and the Doctor sent these aliens in their ships back to where they came from. After this whole ordeal, The Doctor offered all of time and space to Taylor if she came along with him. How could she refuse? Of course she came along. Now she stood by the console of the blue box which was enormous on the inside, stroking the wonderful assortment of buttons and levers, ready to land on some distant planet.

The TARDIS had stopped shaking and the engines had stopped whirring, now they were humming again, waiting for the next departure. Taylor made her way to the door, excited to see the fantastic new world.

"Hang on!" The Doctor blurted "I need some better clothes than these."

Taylor was impatient "Those look fine, let's go."

The Doctor looked confused "I'm wearing a clown costume, in 4000 years of traveling through time and space and 13 lives, I've never once worn a clown suit. Nor am I starting today, I'll just be five minutes!"

With that, the Doctor ran down one of the corridors to the side of the console room, leaving Taylor to her thoughts. 4000 years? 13 lives? What's that supposed to mean? Taylor knew that the Doctor was an alien but not that he was this old. He only looked 16 to her, barely a year older than she was. And what did he mean lives? How could he have had more than one life?

Taylor never got to think about it because at that moment the Doctor had re-entered the console room, no longer donning the clown pants which she had given him earlier. Now he wore a slim, black, Frock coat which went down to his knees. Underneath the coat? He wore a bright white shirt with no tie or bow tie in the unbuttoned collar. He wore black jeans and a pair of red converse shoes. He had a silver, circular watch on his left hand and still had on his glasses from earlier.

"How do I look?" He asked eagerly

Taylor regarded him, he didn't look too bad really, and maybe a little too skinny but other than that he looked great.

"You look fine, can we go now?" Taylor replied, anxious and impatient.

He chuckled "Of course"

And then The Doctor opened the doors of the TARDIS with a snap of his fingers, revealing a lush, green terrain with a yellow sky which Taylor was eager to explore.

Taylor stepped outside the doors and took a deep breath in. It smelt like lavenders and roses. She could see a citadel in the distance and a small shack nearby. The grass was softer than she had expected. It felt like she was walking on water.

"Where are we?" She asked the doctor.

"I've honestly got no clue" he replied, "New regeneration and all, I'm still a bit foggy up in my head, but from what I can tell. We must be on the planet Forrlin, in the year 4000. Human occupied of course, you lot found this planet yourselves. No one else was here and you made it habitable too. Incredible really. If that is where we are right now, we could also be on Tyrillia which has air that kills you after seven minutes of breathing it and if that doesn't kill you, then the Daleks on the planet will."
