Never Met Before

The more I've learned about me, the more I'm interested in others.

I have been sitting here for the last ten minutes playing with the straw of the shake that I just finished and waiting for Cole.

In this past ten minutes, atleast four times I have doubted memory that did we really decided to meet today or my tired my mind just made it up all yesterday.
But then I don't remember being high on anything except anger. 

He was already late five minutes right now and I had clue if he would show up or not. I was just glad that I don't have to wait for long even if he doesn't show up also. My classes start in fifteen minutes and I have to leave by then eventually.

"You came... wow "I stood up suddenly startled by the voice from my behind. I turned my head around and he was almost towering over me. He stood in an all-black outfit. Black v neck, black jeans, and even black shoes. And a black heart also"my subconscious remarked

 Even his signature smirk accompanied him and if not better you could say he was dressed in an outfit from yesterday.

I backed away a little and stood up on his side feeling a lot better." So how about we make some rules huh ?" he asks me with his eyebrows raised making his right eye look bigger.

"Yup, we will need them in the long run ".I try to keep my voice as collected as I can. I don't want him to know that he really gets to me. I know for sure that will boost his ego and whatever front I have still maintained in front of me will land in trash.

"Okay so we will study two to three days a week alternatively at my place and yours, "he says again still looking me straight in the eyes and my mind just wants to counter-attack his statement.

"No, I may call you sometimes at the cafe when I work late hours. We can study there also ."

"Oh..that cafe" he chuckles to himself as if remembering something very funny and I still concentrate on keeping a straight face." yeah sure, I feel that is a better place. So we start today, my place?"I can see his eyebrows raised again as if confirming with me and I can feel myself giving a nod.

"Sure ...just message me the address," I said and turned around to leave, feeling happy that this didn't take long or ended up in a fight.

"Ummm...Rhea, actually I don't have your number "he said giving me the shrug realizing the same thing ...even though we fight so much yet we don't have each other's number.

The classes went one by the other and in no time it was the end of the day. I even told Mr smith that I will start tutoring Cole today and the smile he passed me ....man I swear he would not have been this happy on his wedding.
"I always knew Rhea you had it in yourself to convince Cole ."
Phew

But at last, I made the man happy.
The ride to the cafe was a ten-minute ride which I always have with Niall.
Well better than a walk.

"Do you have a double shift today also ?" I ask Niall setting my handbag ready to go out

"Yeah ...you know, "he says and trails off for me to understand things, which I do.

Niall belongs to a rich family and could do good without any part-time job , but because of his bad circumstances at home, he likes to stay out as much as he can.
Let's just say that he is tired of dealing with an alcoholic mother who loves one-night stand and a violent brother.

I moved out of the car and opened the door of the coffee and vanilla aroma filled my nose.
The most satisfying smell!!

My phone chimed  signaling the arrival of some message

"Cole here
32 palk street, house no 12 "

Hmm, straight forward message
Once a jerk always a jerk"

I changed and got ready for my shift.
Niall had already changed and began working ....damn I really need to keep my phone aside .

Well, let's start. .with smiles and smirks
