My mother and I, ah that's a whole different story. I don't even want to speak of her.
I finally feel my energy come back so I quickly jump up onto my feet. My head starts pounding, Wow head rush. I start walking anyway, with my phone in my hand. my light blue little car is just up the hill, I don't think I'm fit to drive though.
My clothes are drenched, I wish I could change but all my other clothes are at my apartment, which Maggie, rose and jane will be.
My legs are aching as I walk up the hill. I hear someone call out my name, I'm to afraid to turn around to see who it is.
'Jasmine! Jasmine, it's Ella!'
Shit, ella, Josh's sister. I forgot she lived near this beach. Maybe she doesn't know what happened.
' are you alright? I heard what happened and I.... '
I start running, i can hear myself breathing. I search in my pants pocket for the car keys thinking they probably got washed away into sea. I sigh of relief when I grab the keys.
I can hear ella behind, she's not chasing me but she's not just standing there. I can't exactly hear what shes saying.
I unlock the car and lock it straight after when I get inside. I back out and I notice ella standing nearby, she smiles at me.
Water is dripping everywhere from my wet clothes. Mc Donald's is just up the road so I drive there and go through the drive thru. I open my wallet which I put under the car seat last night.
' hello what can I get you today? ' a tall girl with dark brown hair with purple highlights said with a half smile on her face.
' just a large chips please ' I replied handing her the money.
' okay, have a great day' she said.
I drive to the next window and a man hands the hot chips to me. He stared at my choice of clothes, I ignore him and continue driving.
