Diana
I danced around him, giggling at his bouts of laughter. I stopped suddenly, seeing something. I saw Scarlet in the kitchen, falling to her knees crying...
I sprinted off towards the house, not thinking of Seth. I was running faster than I'd ever run before. I burst through the front door and ran to her.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
She looked confused and then her eyes clouded over. She fell to the floor, crying. I crouched in front of her, hearing Seth run through the door.
"What is it, mom?" I asked again.
She looked up at me. "She's awake."
She wasn't sad, she was happy. I sped up the stairs to Diana's room. I shoved the door open and glanced at the bed, expectantly. I slowly glided in, peering at her tiny face. I noticed her eyes flutter open. It all moved so fast.
Seth was there and he was hugging her tightly, laughing as he touched her face hesitantly. She giggled weakly up at him. She truly was a sight to behold.
Her natural alabaster colour had returned and the red of her hair was truly contrasting to her skin. She had the biggest chocolate brown eyes I'd ever seen; they were so full of life.
She hugged Seth again lightly. I saw a vision.
I was walking down a long aisle towards Seth, smiling uncontrollably. He was standing beside Diana. She hugged him and then ran to me. She kissed my cheek and then flitted to her seat in the front row.
I gasped as it went away. Seth immediately looked up; knowing I'd had a vision. He smiled at me, looking back at Diana. He kissed her forehead and said his goodbyes as he walked back to me.
He wrapped an arm around my waist, guiding me out of the bedroom. He quietly shut the door, sighing heavily through a smile.
"I've waited so long for her to wake up. I was beginning to think she never would. What did you see though?"
I began giggling and crying at the same time.
His eyes widened with his smile. "What is it? Is it that good?" He wiped the tears gently from beneath my eyes.
"You're gonna marry me," I stated through a giggle.
His smile faded. "What?"
I felt my giggles die away, but not the tears. "You...I saw me...we were getting married."
"Why are you afraid now?"
"Your response."
He frowned. "It caught me off guard. You should've known I was going to marry you one day," he laughed trying to lighten the mood.
My fear drained. "Oh...you scared me for a minute."
He smiled lightly and pulled me to him. "I love you, Claire."
I kissed him, tangling my fingers into his hair.
He sighed against my lips, turning me to lean against the wall as we continued kissing.
Someone cleared their throat. I looked over to see Scarlet grinning widely beside Diana.
"You two have a room, ya know."
We laughed at her casual tone. I untangled from him and slid out from in front of him. I leaned down to shake hands with Diana.
Our hands touched and I was sucked into a horrible place. I was standing in the woods, watching her skip through trees. She tripped over a fallen limb and screamed out in pain. I watched as an older vampire slid from behind a tree in front of her, his eyes red with thirst.
