Background information: Jay is a smart but reserved person but, he knows when to speak out. Jay family was poor but they did anything to buy books for Jay so he has a better chance in his future. One day Jay went out to the park to read since his home isn't the best place to read at. Only to find his home being burned to the ground, Jay ran into the house hoping to at least help one of his family members. When he was in the house he found his mother in the living room , he tried to help her up but he was to weak. His mother horrified that he baby was in the burning home with her called out for Blaze and Blake two alt tigers that Jay and his father fix came running into the living room. There Jay mother order them to bring Jay to safety even if it meant leaving the others to die so that's what they did. Jay passed out from the smoke when they got out but they weren't alone police men were there with firefighters who were already trying to put out the fire.
