We can all agree that there will be no death in heaven. Verses like Revelation 21:4 ("There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain...") make that very obvious. Some people disagree about animals being in heaven, however there are many Bible verses that use explicit examples of animals in heaven (Isaiah 65:25- "The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent's food.", and Isaiah 11:6- "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them."). God's salvation plan was made for humans, as we have the ability to sin, reason, and make moral/immoral decisions. Animals are not capable of that. Jesus died to save us from our sins, but animals do not have to be saved because they do not sin. Animals will undoubtedly be in heaven, and none of them will be killed for consumption. No death, remember? We will clearly all be vegetarians in heaven, although will we be vegans? We may not know for certain until we get there, however I believe there's a good chance. The world was perfect before the fall, and it seems safe to assume that the nourishment we're provided in heaven will be similar (if not identical) to the food offered when the world was created (Again, Genesis 1:29- "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food."). When the world was perfect, no mention was made of animal-derived products like eggs and dairy. God stated that plants were their food. In a perfect world, it seems reasonable to assume that the milk produced by mammals would go to their young (the way it was intended to be, and the only reason their bodies produce milk). Human milk for human babies, cow milk for cow babies, dog milk for dog babies. Whether or not we consume dairy and eggs in heaven, one thing is certain: there will be no suffering, which is ultimately the important thing. The environment won't suffer, the animals won't suffer, and the people won't suffer, and that's what veganism is about.
