While many thought veganism is just another food fad, it has come to stay and many embrace it without looking back. Veganism carries a lot of benefits for it to be just another fad, Jorge Marques Moura says. People have their various reasons for avoiding all animal products, including meat, dairy, eggs, and even things like honey or leather. While for some it is a fight against animal cruelty, some are for various health issues as it is linked to lowering of heart diseases, promoting weight loss and, reducing chances of certain types of cancers and many more, Jorge Marques Moura adds.

I have been living in and out of Korea since 1999. I got my Korean citizenship in 2003 and it is embarrassing that after living in Korea for so long my fluency in Korean is stagnant at intermediate level. I have many friends who visit Korea three to five times a year because of KPOP and KDRAMA. I never understood the fascination until I watched and fell in love with Gong Yoo in The Goblin. The Goblin is the first Korean drama series I have ever watched from start to finish. Now I push myself to watch Korean movies and other series. I am so overwhelmed by all the Korean series available on Netflix. Pushing myself means being determined to watch the first episode. Usually I give up watching after ten minutes. Now I push myself to finish the first episode and decide if the series is worth watching till the end. I want to tell my stories as autobiographically accurate but I don't want to embarrass my friends and family. I will share good stories and nasty stories. There are still more good people in the world than bad people. But it's a fact that bad tragic stories are more entertaining and interesting. These stories are based on my personal experiences, opinions and realisations. I cannot promise that every chapter is a hundred percent accurate. I have to change names and locations but I can 99% promise the anecdotes will be 95% based on true events.

Days went and came and I started to get back to my old unhealthy habits. Before I even knew I had had gained 3/4 of the weight I had lost. Today I'm standing here and wishing to start my healthy lifestyle. I have learned from my past mistakes and will do it even better then before. The difference will be that I now won't starve myself. 🍓🌽🍲🏋🏻‍♀️🚲

We live in a time and age in which a vegan is glorified and a pro-lifer (anti-abortionist) is condemned by the secular world! This situation confuses many Christians - the young and the old. Youngsters seem to think that being a vegan is to be kind to the animals. While this may be true, they, on the other hand, believe that the mother has the right to choose whether or not to continue with the pregnancy. Animal life, today, has a greater value than human life. Or so it seems! What does the Bible say about animal rights? How could a vegan, who cares for plant and animal life, care less about human life? Finally, can a Christian vegan endorse abortion? Read more...

Amy, Rory and the Doctor argue over Christmas dinner. Sentimentality and alcohol are involved. And time travel. I do not own nor make any claim in any respect regarding the TV show Doctor Who or any aspect or character thereof. I do not make money writing about them. A bit slung together since I had the idea while actually cooking Christmas dinner. But sometimes timeliness outweighs perfection. That whole 'A good idea violently executed,' thing.
