"Okay class, everyone go into groups of two and one group of three." Ms. Raison orders. Obviously, Sarah and Diana partner up with each other. Friends partner with partners. I have no friends in this class. I just hopped into Diana's and Sarah's group. They all gave me a dirty mean look saying I shouldn't budded into their business. Too bad!
"Just pretend I ain't here." I told them.
"Weird bitch." Sarah mumbled loud enough that I can hear. It did hurt mentally, but I didn't let her get to me. Mrs. Raison escort us inside. It was dusty. The stairwell was attached to a side of a wall near the entrance. An arch leads to blackened room which my so called 'group' headed towards.
Their curiosities and thrill had soon punish them. Diana and Sarah both gasped in unison. What we all saw was burnt dining room. The table was broken into pieces. The most gruesome part was three discovered bodies; burned and unrecognizable. Some parts of the wooden floor was not burnt, but it was coloured with dark crimson.
Sarah and Diana winced towards me after the realize I wasn't cringing at all from the the horrific sight.
"How are you not scared of this?" Sarah asks me.
I shrugged and said. "It's just burnt bodies, it's kind of gross."
Sarah whispered something in Diana's ear. Obviously, I knew, they were talking about me. I turned my backs against them and walked out. Are they really going to act like this infront of me during the whole field trip?
As Ms. Raison nor the other classmates aren't looking, I quietly get up the stairs towards the second floor. The second floor appeared to be an outstretched corridor. All of them seemed closed somehow as I looked both ways. A door slowly creaked opened which caught my attention. I head inside the room. It was dark, the walls were painted light blue. A full size bed with snowflakes theme. Shelves and some type of dressed up glass dolls. The room was tidy just like my own.
I snooped around and look through the shelves. I wonder who could've owned this awesome room! I stumbled across a shelf full of yearbooks. I picked the first one and slammed the shelf. Then a lamp next to the bed flickered on which made me felt more unnerved. Still, I ignore that and began to read through. The yearbook was from 2005 at Bolingbrook Junior High School, the same school I was at. I went to the senior page and read the quotes. The pictures were coloured instead of black and white.
I blaze through the senior, junior, and sophmores. I slowed down because I was a freshman in this high school. I wanted to know who was in nineth grade by that time. I noticed that one of them was marked. A mustache was drew on to him with a caption saying "This mustache man is wanted." I started to crack up for a brief second. He was labeled as "Nick Andy." After flipping some pages and one of the student's name caught my eye. She had long thick dark hair and blue eyes, the similar look as mine. Her name was "Kaitlyn Lonha" which I've silently said outloud.
Then I felt that someone was right behind me! The dread atmosphere began to pressure down on me. I winced back around to see a shadow of a woman only to have a slight smile. I just stared at her for a brief second until her true form finally apowered. A psychotic grin appeared. Her left eye was replaced with a hollow socket with a bloody slash. She looks like she never slept even fed upon the blood of her victims. She was staring right into my soul.
"Snooping around can lead to big cost, big trouble." The woman chuckled evilly. The door was still opened out of the corner of my eye, so I quickly jumped over the bed and bolted out of that room. I was going so fast that I tripped and rolled down the stairs grunting.
"What the hell, Laila?" I heard someone shout. I glared back towards a young girl with hazel eyes and dyed orange hair, Taylor Coscrow.
"I saw a woman appear right infront of me." I panted. "I bolted out of the room really quick."
"Looks like someone is going to be possessed real soon." Sarah smirked.
"I hope you're the first one that she kills." I growled.
Sarah stomped her way over here and began punching me. "You foolish piece of shit! Never talk back!"
"Woah!" I heard Ms. Raison said then dived into action. She pulled Sarah off of me. "Go sit on the bus now! I would deal with you later!" She shrieked which caused Sarah to have an angst expression upon her face. She quickly obeyed of what Ms. Raison told her to do. She glanced towards me. "When we go back to the school, you're going to the nurse. I can see you have a bloody nose and lip."
"Going to have some bruises as well." I added in.
"Um, Ms. Raison," Taylor said paley. She then winced towards Troy who's neck was twitching severly. "He is freaking me out."
"Troy, you alright?" Ms. Raison asks nervously.
Troy didn't reply. A slight manly growl came out of his mouth. Then he began to twist his next 360°. All of us began to cringe as each loud cracks that came from his neck. Then he plummet towards the ground with a thud. Taylor screamed and checked his pulse. "He's still alive and needs some medical attention." Taylor urges.
Ms. Raison quickly scooped him up in his arms and took him back to the bus. We all went to a random church to dial 911. Troy didn't wake up and class was worried, he might not wake up again. The church informed the school about 'what happened.' 'He fell and hurt his neck.'
When we went back to the school and it was the end of the day. It was around noon time when we went to church. Sarah has now three days in OSS because of beating me up. I was sent to the nurse and so many ice packs. My body was so sore after the punches. Every single time, the pain comes way after the incident.
"Why are you covered in bruises?!" Mother shout out.
"Got beat by Sarah Sas and she got three days of OSS." I explained.
That day was the worst day of my life because it was beginning of a new chilling era.
