vanilla twilight//owl city

the stars lean down to kiss you
and i lie awake and miss you

*twists cap off of mysterious pill bottle*

pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere...

*sighs, tapping out a few pills*

cause ill doze off safe and soundly
but ill miss your arms around me
id send a postcard to you dear
cause i wish you were here

*takes the pills with my own blood*

ill watch the night turn light blue
but its not the same without you
because it takes two to whisper quietly

*shakes head, shivering violently*

the silence isn't so bad
til i look at my hands and feel sad
cause the spaces between my fingers are right where yours fit perfectly~

*looks at bottle, dumps all of them into my hand*

ill find repose in new ways
though i havent slept in two days
cause cold nostalgia chills me to the bone

*takes them with more of the coppery blood spilling from many cut wounds, swallowing hard*

but drenched in vanilla twilight
ill sit on the front porch all night

*bandages wounds with ace bandages*

waist-deep in thought
because when i think of you
i dont feel so alone

*hugs self, chucking razor into sink and walking outside, wrapping self up in boyfriends flannel*

*shaky inhale, sitting on the porch in the moonlight*

when violet eyes get brighter
and heavy wings grow lighter
ill taste the sky and feel alive again

*tearing up, hugs self tight*

and ill forget the world that i knew
but i swear i wont forget you
oh if my voice could reach back through the past
id whisper in you ear

*looks up at the twinkling stars and smiles sadly*

"oh darling i wish you were here~"

*listens to music peacefully, glistening tears sliding and dropping off cheeks, moonlight glinting off the water droplets of sad perfection*
