LOVE

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Romans 12:9

What is LOVE? --- Perhaps this question started to circle the whole earth a long time ago and until now, it still lives.

So many people try to explain what love really means. So many books show and tell the feeling of being in love. But LOVE cannot be defined by just one word alone. Love takes many forms.

LOVE, accordingly, is the world's universal language. It doesn't need to be spoken, it needs to be shown.

So, what is LOVE?

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 states,

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrong.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

LOVE never fails.

Love, in all of its many forms, does no harm to its neighbors.

We will never find the truest meaning of LOVE unless we seek GOD.

"And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. GOD is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." - 1 John 4:16

GOD, is the perfect definition and manifestation of LOVE.

He loves us, even if we can't return the same love.

He loves us, even if we have sinned.

He loves us, even if we turn our back to him.

He loves us, not because of who we are or what we have done. He loves us because of WHO HE IS. He is GOD. And GOD is love.

He is capable of doing anything, except abandoning his people.

He is great! He is powerful! He is Mighty! He is awesome! He is Amazing!

GOD is everything! HE is indescribable.

So, when asked about what love means?

One word, three letters,

G

O

D.

GOD. God is love, He is everything!

1 John 3:18 "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth."

We love because GOD first loved us. His love is everlasting, dwell in it!
