"I hate school." Rosie whispered while walking through the big doors.

It was the first day of school after the summer break. Rosie felt small even though it was her third year at this school. Her first class was math, she wasn't very good at it so she didn't want to go. She started walking faster as she heard the bell.

Then her tiny body bumped into a tall guy. Rosie looked up,

"I'm sor.."

"Can you bloody watch out?" It wasn't the tall boy speaking in fact it was a boy about the size Rosie was.

He stood in front of the tall boy like he was protecting him. "Louis, it's okay." The tall boy said. Rosie showed a little smile towards him. She had to go to class! "Uhm, I.. I got to go. Bye!" She said while she ran off to maths.

The door was shut and she had to knock, when she opened the door she was so embarrassed. "And Miss Jones why are you so late?" Rosie hated her math teacher so much, she was old and only nice to the kids that got an  A on every test. "I, uhm, bumped in to someone and all my books fell." Half of it was true, so she wasn't lying, right?

"Go sit down and pay attention." The old lady looked strictly at Rosie while she sat down.

Rosie looked at her watch while the last minute went by before lunch break. She was excited to see her friends again, she didn't have one class in common with them so the only time she could see her best friends was at lunch break. The bell rang and Rosie went to their lunch table where her and her friends always sat.

"Rosie! I missed you so much!" Rosie turned to the loud high voice.

It was Heather her best friend since, what, kinder garden? The two girls hugged, "Heather you look so tanned, where did you go?" "Hawaii." Heather smiled.

Rosie jumped when two hands grabbed her sides. "You were scared!" Kayleigh, her other best friend, laughed. Rosie hugged her too. "Would you please never again do that?" Her friends laughed as they sat to their table.

"I jumped out off a plane, can you believe I did that? I felt like I could deal with everything after that."

Rosie didn't pay attention to what Heather said, she was looking at the boy she bumped into this morning, he was sitting two tables next to her. Rosie could see he had beautiful brown, long curls and a really nice sharp jawline. He was actually quite pretty, from a distance, she didn't get a chance to look at him up close this morning.

"Rosie? Hello, did you hear me?" Rosie stopped staring at the boy as Kayleigh snapped her fingers in front of her face.

"Sorry, what did you say?" "I asked you if you finally found a boyfriend while we were on holiday." Rosie shook her head. "Darling you got to go hunting for a man you know."

Kayleigh and Heather were those typical popular girls you always see in movies, wearing pink, short skirts, heels and only thinking about shopping and boys. "I don't think I want a boyfriend." Rosie said, that sentence made her friends look in a worried way.

"Rosie, why not? Is something uhm.. wrong?" Kayleigh asked. "Kay, I'm not into girls if you're thinking that's what causing me not to want a boyfriend. And if I was, it's not wrong." She heard her friends slightly releasing a relieved breath. It was hard to hold in an eye roll.

Rosie wasn't as girly as her friends, yes, she liked to go shopping, but she wasn't into the pink clothes, short skirts, heels and make up. She liked to wear just skinny jeans, an oversized shirt and some converse. It didn't affect their friendship, it actually made it stronger because of the differences.

"Hi." Rosie jumped at the slow voice next to her.

She turned around and saw a tummy. When she looked up she saw the face of the tall boy she bumped into this morning. Why did he came here?

"Hi?" Rosie replied unsure.

"I wanted to apologize for my friend this morning, he is uhm.. very protective and gets a little aggressive if someone touches me without my permission." The boy had a smile on his face, he clearly thought it was funny.

"It's okay, I was being clumsy so he was kinda right. I"m sorry for bumping into you, you aren't hurt or something right?" Rosie looked the boy in his eyes. They were a green color,  hers were green too but not as vibrant as his. His were pretty, they fitted his face.

"No, I'm not hurt." He smiled at Rosie. "But, I have to go to class, see ya 'round." He winked and walked away, leaving Rosie behind looking at his long legs leaving the cafeteria. "Rosie! Who's that?" Heather grabbed her wrist and jumped up and down.

"I, I don't know." Rosie was confused, did he just wink? She didn't get it. "He so likes you!" Kayleigh cried. Rosie laughed at the reaction of her friends, they were so annoying with those kind of things.

"You know I said I didn't want a boyfriend, I'm keeping my word. And why would he like me?" Rosie let her hand slide over the side of her body. "Oh and, if he likes me I have to like him too and I don't." Her friends were dramatically doing as if she was crazy.

"You didn't just say that he's ugly!" Rosie slapped a hand on her forehead. Girls..

Rosie nodded her head at the beat from the music she was listening to. She was on her way to her last class of the day, music. She loved music, since she was a little girl she sang along with all the song she heard. Her parents always told her she was going to be a singer when she grew up, but as the years went by she didn't believe in it.

She sat down at a random seat and pulled her earphones out of her ears. She put them in her bag, but when she got up her breath stopped for a second.

"Did I scare you?" He smiled. Her breath was back to normal as Rosie spoke. "Yeah a little, I didn't notice you sat down. Does somebody sit here 'cause I'm willing to move if I have to, you know." The boy giggled.

"You talk a lot." He brushed a curl out of his face. "And no, stay. I wanted to sit here, next to you."

"Okay." Rosie smiled. What would his name be? He is not the kind of type with a really modern name, she guessed. "What's yo.."

Rosie got cut off by the teacher. "Good afternoon my little instruments." Oh god. Not that kind of teacher, everyone knows the clingy teacher who always calls his or her class sweet. Yes, her music teacher was like that. Rosie leaned back into her chair while she listened to the teacher, who's name was apparently Miss Fletch.

"Hey, wake up." Rosie felt a hand shaking her shoulder.

She opened her eyes and immediately regretted it because of the bright lights. The tall boy woke her up. "Class is over." He smiled. "Hmh.." is all Rosie could say. She got up and saw the boy and her where the only ones left in the room.

"Wait, how did I sleep and not get sent out?" Rosie was confused.

"I told Miss Fletch that you had a headache and you fell asleep, she only said 'oh poor little girl' and then she went on." He told Rosie while he walked around the table to help her up. Rosie smiled. "Thanks."

They walked to the door when Rosie stopped. "May I ask you something?"

The boy turned around and ran a hand through his curls. He has big hands, with long fingers. On almost each finger was put a ring. "Yeah, of course." He smiled, again. Why does he smile so much? Kayleigh and Heather told her that if a boy smiles a lot he likes you. But this boy didn't like her. Rosie knew.

"What's your name?" She mumbled, playing slightly with her fingers.

"Harry. Harry Edward Styles." He said really slow, with a soft voice Rosie thought was kind of cute.
"And you?" He asked while stepping towards her.

"Rosie, actually Georgia Rose, but everybody calls me Rosie. Or Miss Jones, if your name is Miss Caldera." Rosie looked at the ground, she could've just said her name instead of telling a whole story. She could slap herself.

"Nice name, Rosie." He smiled, again, but now showing his teeth. The way he said her name made Rosie a little weak in her knees.
