Kenzie's POV
Annie and I got to class and got seats next to each other. I'm really glad I met Annie. She's different from my other friends. She doesn't try to talk about herself 24/7, she's so nice, funny, and i've only known her for less than an hour!
Annie's POV
I think Kenzie and I are going to be good friends out of everyone in the group. She's different. I'm really thankful for meeting such nice people already. But I still I still feeling that missing piece from Caleb... "Annie are you ok? You look sad" She said sounding concerned. "No I'm fine I was just thinking about things but thanks Kenz"
"No problem I'm always here if you ever need to talk Annie"
Teacher- Okay class so today I will be partnering you up for the big project. Ashley and Kate.
"Oh no Kenz! I don't know anything about this project and I don't know anyone in this class but you and what are the chances of me being with you!" I said with extreme worry.
"It's ok Anns I met you an hour ago and look how close we are already" she laughed "You are a likeable person. I'm sure you can make friends with whoever you are partnered up with and they can tell you about the project. If not I'll help you study for it"
"Wow thanks Kenz you really calmed me down there" ok Annie just breathe it won't be that bad.
Teacher- Mackenzie and Cody and finally Hayden and Julianna....Oh i'm sorry I forgot to introduce our new student Julianna.
I kind of awkwardly stood up and smiled and everyone just stared so I quickly sat down.
"Hey Julianna your partner is staring at you" Kenzie said while laughing. "Hush Mackenzie" we both laughed. I guess you could say Hayden was staring at me a little bit, when I caught him staring I smiled at him and he smiled back. I walked over to him "Hayden right?"
"Ya and you're Julianna?" he said. Dang this kids pretty cute. He has really nice curly hair, and a cute smile. "Ya, but people call me Annie"
H- Annie it is then. May I ask why Annie though?
A- My brother used to call me that, so it just stuck.
H- Used to?
A- I'm not really a person to really self centre myself but ya my brother passed away when he was 13.
H- Wow i'm so sorry. I know hearing that response is probably for the millionth time but i'm not really good in these situation.
A- I'm glad you noticed. Everyone says that to me. I mean it's nice but i hear it so often so I just rather not share it so often.
Hayden and I really got to know each other that class instead of getting any work done. Surprisingly that teacher had no interest what so ever in what any of the students were actually doing, so we could talk about whatever we want.
*Bell Rings*
"I'll see you around Leblanc" said Hayden with his cute smile. "See ya Summerall" I smiled and walked over to Kenzie
"Hey Annie I saw you guys flirting over there what's up with that?" Kenzie said with a smirk on her face "What do you mean flirting? I was just making friends like you told me" I said defensively "Ya, very very good friends" she said while laughing "Hush Mack Z lets dip"

Woah guys I'm actuallly enjoying this chapter what do you guys think? Also after all the kayden drama I started to like kenzie a lot more and i've been reading fanfics and I always like seeing ones when Annie's friends with Kenzie which is rare fanfics tbh.
