Jazzy's POV:
I know I shouldn't be cuddling with Jace, but he was just so heartbroken. After everything he told me I couldn't just leave him to cry. I told myself it would only be a one night thing. Boy was I lying. I kept trying to kick him out, but it was just so comforting. I don't know how, but the way he plays with my hair relaxes me. I've slept better than I have in years these past couple of nights. I know it's helping him too. Everyone close to him in his life has hurt him. I think he uses cuddling as a distraction, not that I mind. I roll out of bed and get ready for the day. I found a pair of roller skates in Jace's closet. I decided that I wanted him to teach me how to skate. He wakes up about 20 minutes later and gets ready. He grabs his skates and we head to the skating rink. I don't know what I was thinking. I am the clumsiest person on the planet. There is no way I am going to be able to do this.Jace's POV:
I was surprised when Jazzy asked me to teach her how to skate. She can barely walk without falling all over the place. Once we get our skates on I grab Jazzy's hand, and pull her up. She almost falls back down, but I catch her and keep her steady. We finally make it on to the actual rink. Jazzy is sorta getting the hang on it. Right when we start getting a little faster Jazzy looses her balance, and sends us both crashing down to the ground. I land on her kinda awkwardly. I pull us both back up and we take a break to eat some pizza. Jazzy and I are laughing and having a good time, when suddenly I am pushed over. I quickly get back up to see Tyler skating past me smirking. Jazzy stops dead in the middle of the rink. She's just standing there staring back in forth between me and Tyler. I forgot that Tyler didn't know that I had broken the deal. The next time he passes me he try's to punch me in the face but Jazzy jumps in front of me and gets hit instead. She falls backward and passes out. I am so angry at Tyler that I don't even realize that Jazzy's nose is bleeding. I quickly bend down and life her up, which isn't very easy to do in skates. I skate all the way to my car and put her in the back seat. I drive all the way to the hospital and rush Jazzy inside still wearing my roller skates. The doctors look confused, but I simply tell that she was punched in the face and that she passed out. While I'm waiting for Jazzy to wake up I get a phone call. It's Tyler. I answer and immediately start yelling at him. "You shouldn't have done that. You hurt the woman I love. The deal is off I will find a way to get you your money. I could never let Jazzy be with someone like you." I quickly hang up. I look over and realize that Jazzy is awake now.Jazzy's POV:
"Do you mean it," I ask very quietly because it hurts to my nose when I talk. Jace jumps up out of his seat and comes towards me. "Of course I mean it," he replies. He leans over and kisses me. He stops when the doctor walks in to see how I'm doing. He said I should be released tonight. I am so happy. I am sick of hospitals. When we get home Jace helps me take a shower and then we cuddle in bed. I have a feeling even after I move back out he will still be my cuddle buddy. I quickly fall asleep cuddled up next to Jace. I wake up the next morning and realize that I am in bed alone. I walk into the kitchen and find a plate of bacon and waffles along with a note. The note said That Jace had run to the store and that he would be right back. I decided I would just watch YouTube on his computer until he got home. When I opened his computer I saw that he had gotten an email from someone who was in he army. I knew I should leave it alone but I was curious. When I opened the email I was shocked. The email was asking to make sure Jace was still planning on joining the army after he graduated high school. I began crying. I honestly don't know why I am crying. Jace walks in the front door and notices that I am crying. He rushes over to me to give me a hug when he notices the email. He doesn't say anything he just stands there staring at me.
