Jazzy's POV:
It's been about a week since the whole thing happened with his dad. His dad will be in prison for 10 years for assault. I can't believe I've already been living with him for a 2 months. Only one more month and then I can leave. I've always wanted to travel the world after high school, after college of course. Finals are coming up so I've been studying like crazy. I feel bad because I've been ignoring Jace, but it's hard to concentrate when he's walking around shirtless.

Jace's POV:
Jazzy has been so distant lately. I feel like Jazzy blames me for what happened to her. It makes me feel like crap. I know she doesn't know she's hurting me, but I was hoping that after she knew the truth everything would be ok. I guess it was stupid to think that we could just go back to the way it was before. I decide that I'm going to make it up to her. She deserves to know the truth about me. It's going I be hard to tell her since the only other person that knows is my best friend. I owe her that much at this point. I decide I'm going to fix her a nice dinner and then tell her. It also can't hurt to buy her a huge bag of skittles.

Jazzy's POV:
I head down stairs to grab a cup of coffee. When I get down there the table is set all fancy and Jace is in the kitchen cooking dinner, or at least trying to. I notice that the bread is burnt and the noodles are a little over cooked. Jace smiles when he sees me. "I know it's not edible,I ordered no sauce pizza." "How did you know it was my favorite," I ask. " It's a secret."
20 minutes later the pizza arrives, and we sit down to eat it. When we're done eating Jace hands me a huge bag of skittles and tells me to get settled down on the couch. I'm starting to get a little worried. The look on his face makes me wonder if something I wrong. "Jace, what's wrong", I ask. He doesn't reply he just simply sits next to me on the couch. After an uncomfortable silence he finally speaks. "I'm going to tell you my life story, I've only ever told one person, but after everything I've put you through I thought you deserved to know."
I stay quite and let him tell me the story.
Jace's POV:
"Ok so basically it all started when my dad army base was bombed and he was the only one who survived. My dad was the one who accidentally set off the bomb because he was so drunk. He was drunk because he missed the birth of my little sister Bella. Bella died short after she was born and my dad was devastated. He never even got to see her, or hold her. My mom was a mess and needed help, but my dad suffered from severe depression and PTSD. After a while mom got sick of his behavior and left him. When she left dad lost it and started drinking even more then he was. I tried to get him to go to rehab, but he wouldn't listen. I finally got him to go to rehab, and he was doing great until he found out my mom died. As you know my dad doesn't do well with loss so he went back to drinking. He thought if he drank then he wouldn't have to feel anything and in order for that to happen he had to drink more and more. I've been moving around ever since. I never really made any friends so I would always hang out with the bad kids because it was better than being alone. Once I was caught stealing food from the cafeteria because my dad forgot to buy food. I have pretty much raised myself since I was 8 years old." Jazzy just stared and me not saying anything. Finally she spoke. "I'm so sorry. No one should have to deal with that. I don't blame you for what your dad did. None of this is your fault, so if I ever made you feel like it was I'm sorry." I feel like crying. I lean over and give her a hug. She's so nice and comforting that I break down while we're hugging. She doesn't care though. She just lets me cry. When I finish crying we go In my room and cuddle. I give her kiss and wish her goodnight.
