Chapter 1.

Zaid POV.

I cannot believe what my ears has just listened. I immediately turned on tv and saw news flashing.

Terrorist attack in Hayat hotel. 20 people dead  and 100 people are injured. According to the sources, it a suicidal attack. Police still haven't figured out about who was that attacker and still any group hasn't taken the responsibility of this blast.

*Mobile phones rings*

"Hello", i said.

"Hello, am I speaking with Mr. Zaid Ali?", a woman spoke from other side.

"Yes, I'm Zaid Ali", i said.

"Sir, your presence is required in Apollo hospital. I'm Inspector Shanti  Apate. Please come fast", she said.

"Yes, officer. I'm coming", I said and hung up my call.

I immediately moved out from my office, ordered my driver. We rushed towards Apollo Hospital. It's only a half and hour drive, but since morning. I have this feeling that something bad is going to happen. I was only worried about Sarah.

*Flashback*

"ZAAAAAIIIIIIIIDDDDDD, GET UP SLEEPY HEAD. YOU WILL GOT LATE FOR WORK", my beloved wife yelled from kitchen. I shrugged and back to my sleep again.

"Zaid i swear, i will drop a bucket full of water over you if you didn't get up", she bulged in our room.

I got up and caught her from her waist and we both fall back on bed. She grasped at my actions.

"What ain't you going to give me a good morning kiss", i said and pouted.

"Mr. Ali. Get your lazy ass up. I don't want to get late bacause of you. You remember naa, today i'm going to meet dada", she said in her angry voice .

Oh! Yes. She is going to her house, i mean her dada house. That old man is suffering from heart disease. And she is going him for a whole week.

Omg! How am gonna survive this whole week without her.

Ya allah, please make his health good early. Otherwise i will go insane without her.

"Please don't go naa", i pleaded with puppy eyes.

"What", she spat angrily.

"You know what i told you to take one week leave, but remember what you said I CAN'T COME THEY NEED ME HERE TO FOR AN IMPORTANT CASE", she mocked me.

"Now stay here alone. I'm going to dada( grandfather)", Sarah said happily.

"But i will dead without you"

"Oh! My poor hubby gonna miss me, well then i will call you night and day to make you feel good, plus i'm going for one week not for life time", she said.

"Don't say things, I won't let you go any where", i said.

"Yes, i know. My hubby loves me so much", she said and giggled and i tickled her. Her giggles turned into laughter.

"Zaid stop, zaid", she pleaded.

"I love you Sarah, so much. Never say such things", i said with sad voice.

"I love you too Zaid, and i promise i won't say such things", she pouted and i kissed her.

"Now, get ready we are getting late", she said and i got up did my morning business after taking shower. I changed into Police uniforms.

I dropped Sarah to the nearest Metro Station.

"Khuda Hafiz, stay safe", i said to her.

"Khuda Hafiz", we bid good byes and then we both left for our destination.

*Flashback ends*

Suddenly i'm feeling worried about Sara. Please Stay safe. I closed my eyes and prayed for her.
