Chapter 11.

Zaid POV.

"Why are you telling me all this right now? I think you are going against Commissioner sir Khalid", i asked her.

"I know Zaid, but i want to tell you truth. Maybe Sarah is alive, i want to find the real culprit not a innocent to be blamed for such horrified deeds", Inspector Aapte told me.

"I know she's alive", i told Ms. Aapte.

Her eyes widened like a saucer.

"I knew from very beginning that Sarah can never do that. She can't even kill a fly how she can plant a bomb to kill 100 of people. I knew from very beginning, that everyone is lying. But when Commissioner sir showed me those post mortem reports, i thought i have lost Sarah, but i know where she is. And i'm going to save her", i said.

"But how did you know, she's alive amd where she is?", she asked me.

I showed her Sarah diary, that Sejal secretly kept in my bag.

"This is Sarah's diary. In which she has written about her dad. Her dad OMAR KHAN", when i told her, Sarah's dad name, she shivered in shock.

"You mean, chief of the terrorist  group Black Snake who were responsible for the terrorist attacks in Hyderabad for the year 2002 in a club", she asked.

"Yes, he's the same. But now he's more powerful. I think this time he's planning something big, but why he needed Sarah for that, i still couldn't find answers for that", i told her.

She placed her hand over my shoulder, "don't worrt we'll find together", she said.

"No, Inspector Aapte. No, i can't. You will lose your job. Don't do this", i told her. She's a inspector after all, we have no power in this case. If we tries to go against them, then we'll lose our ranks and job as well.

"Zaid, i don't care. I can't let a innocent die, even if it cost my ranks, my job. I don't care. I want to help you Zaid.  Please let me", she requested me sincerely. But i cannot put in danger her life.

"No, Shanti try to understand....."

"No, you understand.... i'm coming with you whether you liked it or not, it's my final decision", she crossed her hands over her chest. I sighed in defeat.

"Okay, then. We're team", i extended my hand for shake. She happily shook it.

"But first, i have to go somewhere. You also have to come with me", i told her.

"Where?", She asked me.

"From where all this has started, don't worry nothing will happen to you", she nodded and we moved to meet someone, my boss.

I have a secret, i'm not just a normal police officer, that is my fake life. Infact, i'm a RAW officer. Vowed to my life to serve my nation. At the year 2002, a terrorist attack at club, changed my life fully . I lost my family in that, at that time i wasn't in India, i was on a mission. After that, RAW official's handed me this case. For killing OMAR KHAN, and then i meet Sarah her daughter, i thought it's a good idea to make her fall in my love, and then reach to him. The killer of my family.

But what happened is completely. I'm the one who fall deeply for her. Later that i got to know, when Sarah was just fifteen year old, her dad OMAR KHAN, has left her , Sejal and dada to die. Being a matter of national security, her family was being tortured by official's. Infact, so many attacks were done by local public.

But Sarah is brave. She refused to give up. Despite of all problems and humiliation, being called as a daughter of terrorist, she completed her education and now an independent woman.

But now, i'm one who is feeling guilty. It was my responsibility to protect her. If she got to knew about me, that i only married to her to get her father. She will never love me back. But i swear i will save you Sarah from my life.

Zaid...... is not my real name. It's all fake.
